The short position fee has dropped to 18%, and nearly 7 million shares have been returned; those dreaming of a short squeeze are once again living in a fantasy world. I believe this stock will slide down to $3 in the short term But stubborn people who do not want to hear the truth will continue to lose their money. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
When I wrote this post, about 50 people accused me of opening a short position-even though I didn't have one, and as if opening a short position were a crime anyway :) Anyway, the stock ended up on the verge of collapse; even yesterday, there were people claiming it would skyrocket today-it’s truly a shame. Let me say this now for those who are daydreaming: I believe the decline will continue even after the reverse split. If anyone is still fantasizing about a short squeeze post-reverse split, I’m telling you now: snap out of your fantasy world. For a stock, a reverse split is effectively the same as death. Or do whatever you want :)) Ultimately, it’s everyone’s own decision.
Yes, now that we’ve reached the end of the game, let me tell you the whole story.
Last year, BYND had close to 100 million shares outstanding. Then the company went through a stock offering and put nearly 500 million additional shares into the market. In order to sell those shares to retail investors, they needed a story. And what was that story? The short squeeze narrative.
In my opinion, the people shorting the stock weren’t retail investors or brokerage firms that genuinely believed the company was going bankrupt. :) Anyway, once a certain level of short interest was reached, they created specific movements on the charts, encouraging retail investors to buy even more shares. Then they sold the additional shares they had issued into the market and put the money in their pockets. :)
Now, with the reverse stock split, the shares they sold to you will be consolidated, and the stock will begin trading with a much smaller number of shares.
In my opinion, the important point is this: those expecting the stock to rise after the reverse split may be wrong once again. They could push the stock price down in order to take the remaining shares out of your hands as well, and they could wait another year. They’re not in a hurry. :)
After all, they already made plenty of money by selling nearly 400 million additional shares to retail investors.
That’s basically how the stock market works. When companies are going through difficult times, they often try to raise money by relying on retail investors and, in various ways, taking money out of their pockets.
These are the realities, and this is how I see the logic behind the stock market.
This is solely my personal opinion and analysis, and it is not investment advice.
I believe the stock will fall to a lower price before the 1-30 reverse stock split takes place and that tomorrow will also bring major disappointment; this is merely my personal opinion and does not constitute advice to buy, sell, hold, or invest.
Yes, I have nothing left to say; I suppose you thought I was wrong about what I said, but the outcome speaks for itself. Good luck to everyone; you will understand me better when all your money is gone.
Yes, hello everyone. :)
A special hello to those who called me a paid shill, and an even bigger hello to those who accused me of opening a short position.
Now, let's get to the point. As I told you before, the earnings report turned out to be terrible once again, and honestly, I wasn't surprised at all. I couldn't have expected anything different from a company that has been reporting disappointing earnings for the past six years.
I was simply trying, in good faith, to give investors who might have been caught up in unrealistic expectations something to think about. Instead, many of them responded with unnecessary sarcasm and mockery, so I eventually started responding in the same way.
In the end, I think it's clear now who was acting in good faith.
Have a great day, everyone.
The appointment of a new COO, tomorrow's earnings report, and Ethan rejoining the Board of Directors are all raising one big question: could the company finally be ready for a comeback after all these years?
There still aren't many companies in the market doing what Beyond Meat does. And a few months ago, Elon Musk even posted a tweet that simply said, "BEYOND."
It feels like some surprising developments could be on the way. So, let's see what happens next. Tomorrow, we'll watch the earnings together-and let's send Beyond Meat to the moon! 🚀💎🚀💎🚀💎🚀💎🚀🦅
What are your expectations for the upcoming financial statements?
Since the company's IPO, it has consistently reported losses. What are your thoughts on the financial results that will be released in three days?
They're inflating the stock in real time so they can sell the newly issued shares at higher prices. As more buyers come in, they keep selling. Today, the stock was up around 8–9%, but now it's almost back to its opening price. The reason is obvious: they're selling into every wave of buying. This isn't what we'd call a short squeeze. In my opinion, it's simply a company that needs cash using different tactics.
As it appears, Beyond Meat is starting to fall below $0.50 per share, and what comes next doesn't look good at all. The stock is trading at its all-time low, but the real question is: why?
The answer is simple. The company hasn't reported a single strong financial result in the past six years. They lured investors into believing that the earnings report coming out next week would finally be profitable. At the same time, they kept fueling unrealistic optimism with constant hype and pump stories circulating online.
Meanwhile, whenever I shared objective information and analysis to warn people, some still responded with comments like, "So it's going up then?", "I'm buying more," or "I just added even more," trying to mock the warnings.
Even if your loss is only $100, you may not fully appreciate its value until that money is gone. Companies like this understand investor psychology very well and act accordingly. While everyone was expecting a price pump at these levels, they continued selling the additional shares they had issued to investors.
Look at what happened during Beyond Meat's pump-and-dump period. The stock crashed from $2 to $0.50 in just seven days. Then, over the following 2-3 days, it gradually surged all theway to $7 before slowly falling back to around $1. The point I'mtrying to make is that those dramatic price swings happened within only 2-3 days.
What we're seeing now is completely different. This isn't a short squeeze. It's nothing more than a gradual distribution of shares whenever buyers appear. Every time new buyers step in, more shares are slowly being sold into the market. That's not called a short squeeze-it's called gradually unloading shares onto retail investors.
For the love of God, anyone with even a basic understanding ofthe stock market should be able to see what's happening. Justwatch the Level 2 order book. They place fake sell walls and then remove them. Can you really not see this game beingplayed?
The probability of a genuine short squeeze happening underthese conditions is extremely low. People are even sharing outdated borrow rate screenshots, claiming, "Look, the borrowrate is over 100%!" And there are retail investors who actuallybelieve it.
The chances of the company's upcoming earnings report beingpositive are extremely low. I genuinely believe that many people could lose their money here and end up deeply disappointed.
I keep seeing posts across different platforms saying, "BYND is about to explode," "A massive pump is coming," "We're growing," "New products," and so on. But the reality is that the company has been launching new products every single year for the past six years without achieving consistent success. It has reported losses year after year.
Here, I was accused of having a short position simply because Ishared my objective views about Beyond Meat. :)
But in the end, the people who were dreaming are now facingreality. The company went public in 2019 and reported losses in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024. In 2025, it tried to present a profitby issuing new shares, but that wasn't an operating profit-it came from the share issuance.
Even in 2026, there are still investors who believe the company will become profitable. The company launches new products every year, yet it has failed to report a genuine profit year after year. Just because the stock experienced one pump-and-dump cycle in the past doesn't mean it is destined to repeat forever.
