this woman came into the store i worked at and gave me bad looks even though i was nice to her.

i thought i was overeating so i politely interacted again and i was meet with an even nastier look.

honestly i gave her a nasty look after and she gave me an even nastier one🤣.

i’d guess she id around late 50s or 60s. i wanna just believe she is just miserable or something but im it sure.

originally i was thinking i should give her taste of her own medicine next time but i feel like its stressing myself out for nothing.

what do you think?

she asked if she can use card and i didn’t hear too well. i asked her, “did you say if u can use the card?” she didn’t reply to me and gave me the looks.

mind u she was nice to my coworker right after.
my coworker said that’s how she is and eventually i’ll get used to it but that’s ridiculous imo.

i’m 21f and every one talks about how much they are dating and meeting people. everything that could be considered was short and not serious.

it’s not that i literally cannot but it’s that i don’t find people i like. these days i force myself to go outside of what i like but it a strain.

im so bored waiting around to even like someone and everyone else are dating seriously.

is this normal for my age?

i know eventually it’ll happen so how to just focus on enjoying the single part of my life?

my mom has a store and that she cooks for. i help her prepare stuff every single week but recently she’s been asking me to cook things. which is totally fine, i even volunteer sometimes.

she does this thing where she’ll ask u to do something and then rush to do it herself and then complain no one helps. which i think is kind of normal for moms so i leave it alone. she ends up cooking it herself AFTER i told her ill do it.

mind you she 1000% knows i don’t like to cook with other people in the kitchen, that’s just the ONE thing i ask her to comply with. ofc i will cook anything she wants but i just prefer to be alone and do it.

she won’t leave the kitchen and give me space to do it so i just wait around for her to leave and she never does and just cooks it herself.

i feel bad that she’s doing it all but i feel like if she cannot do one singular thing i ask in order to her the favour then i wont do it.

sometimes i feel like i should just suck it up in order to help her but i feel like i should have that one thing.

okay i’m 21(f) and i smoke a lot and i knowww that the smell is not easy to shake off. she walked into rooms and says it smells like it and she makes comments on my red eyes.

okay she knows buttttt after i tend to feel really bad cause i know it’s disappointing but after she acts totally normal and i would say prettt nice.

her brothers used to smoke and stuff so it not new and she definitely knows the smell. also my siblings got caught but i never got explicitly caught.

i have never seen my parents smoke ever. and she doesn’t even drink. she allows the drinking but we don’t mention it aloud.

what do parents think in these situations? does she hate me for that?😬

i heard first hand that guys always live one particular girl no matter what. and they could like and love other girls yes but it’s not the same. idk if it’s the type of love or the amount of love.

i’ve heard stories of men naming their kids after past loves and so on. i knew a guy that would still bring up his ex in every fucking thing after like 3 years so so. like everyday he will connect things to her and i’d say he’s a pretty transparent guy so im wondering if guys do that secretly.

like would they hide their love for their exes for a relationship but still feel that intense sense of losing the one.

i get so scared of meeting men that already had the one and then u unknowingly can only get placed 2nd at best.

generally i prefer if no one knows i smoke, even other smokers sometimes. Sometimes a guy will tell me it’s fine when they find out and I’ll still try to hide it.

they used to be able to smell it or taste it immediately and they’ll call me out lmaoo and i’d get embarrassed but theyll say it’s fine. anyway i kinda believe it’s never really fine.

even if they are smokers themselves they get kinda weird after and i regret letting them know. this happened enough to the point where ill just hide it for the start but sometimes they catch on and i get scared and embarrassed.

my questions..

-can i really hide that?

-do they hate that secretly or will form bad opinions about it even after saying it’s fine?

-is lying about it making it worst?

i have a friend who cheated on the love of his life a few years back and said that he regretted it cause he loved her.

he said he regretted doing that but then i asked him if they got back together would he cheat again and he deadass said “i would definitely be tempted but probably not”. mind you this man said it’s his biggest regret.

anyway, he said that men can cheat and still love their gf and that ALL men if given the opportunity would cheat. he was like the only way a man won’t cheat is if he simply can’t get another girl.

after all that he said this is how guys are. obviously i know it’s not all of them but is this common thinking?

hi, i (21f) have been dating men from ages 22-26 and they ALL have a story about being heartbroken and not believing in love anymore.

i’ve never been in a super serious relationship so im not sure if i just feel left out but every guy at that age is so heartbroken and unwilling to do anything but wallow in self pity.

will they be like this forever or just a phase young people go through?
