Maiden voyage complete!

Just got through reading my first book on my kindle that I purchased at the weekend. Treasure Island be its name ya filthy swabs!

Jokes aside, it was great read despite having to take a minute at times to get my bearings due its old style of writing and pirate phrases. Thoroughly enjoyed the story tho and was a perfect book for my Kindle's maiden voyage. Now on to the next one 🧐🤔

Grind size (not recommended grind size) changing mid grind.

As stated. I usually grind on setting 7 but randomly will change to 6 mid grind. Is there a way to tighten the grinder to stop this happening? Its been the last month or so out of 8 months of owning. Grind size doesn't change if I hold the adjustment wheel.

Just got my first ever Kindle. Got the paperwight signature.

As someone that likes to read a little but doesn't really know what they like (silly I know). Ive always said that i would only ever read physical media and there is something about just holding a book and flipping the pages manually but i thought i would give the Kindle a go. I went for the Paperwhite signature in jade (usually go for black as im a simple man but thought id be edgy and mix it up a bit 🤣 Just added my first 2 books. The Hobbit and Jurassic Park : The lost world ( literally just finished JP in paperback last night. Some other books ive really enjoyed are Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci code by Dan Brown and half of the Orphan X series by Greg Hurwitz.

As someone new to Civ VII on the switch 2 im thinking im out. More in the body text.

I played a couple of runs and dont really feel like ive learnt anything. Im following the tutorial but basically dont understand what im doing, why im doing it and what im trying to achieve. I love the idea of this game but I think its just too deep for me.

This adapter is low key a game changer for mouse mode.

Had a switch 2 for a couple of days and quite enjoyed testing out mouse mode on one of my all time favourite games, Broken sword. It works amazingly well, if a little slow, even with the fast setting selected in the system options. I did however find it a little unstable, especially in a fast moving game like Metroid prime 4. Ordered this 2 pack of mouse adapters from Amazon and they are amazing.

Finally part of the family after being on the fence for so long....and yes, I did buy a screen protector 🤣

Owned a switch since launch then upgraded to the splatoon oled. I always wanted a switch 2 but some things were holding me back, non oled screen, Game key cards with obviously larger downloads than the last gen switch paired with the expensive additional storage, alot of the games I had already played on PS5 or SW1 and the 1st party releases that interested me originally were getting mixed reviews (Metroid and MKW). Then nintendo went and done a double crafty on me by announcing the price hike and announcing one of my all time favorite games was getting a remake...STARFOX. The rest is history and im loving it.

Canon R10 RF100-400.

Took this shot from a hide at a local nature reserve. Ive been watching these heron for the past 6 weeks build their nest. From my first sighting I estimate the youngsters to be about 4 weeks old.
