[US, us] [h] PayPal [w] code cards with a pokemon on the back

Kinda odd request. My sister texted me a picture of a code card with pikachu on the back, and said "if you find any code cards like this with pokemon on the back, please save them for me - from your nephew"...

Apparently he likes them and is wanting them saved for him. I know nothing about code cards, but if anyone has any others with pokemon on the back, I'd be willing to buy them, or pay shipping or whatever. Prefer probably one or two at most of each pokemon (i only see 5 of them like that, so maybe its a newer thing and there arent many yet)

Thieves in Wolfe County...

I know its a long shot, but someone recently broke into a cabin I am building in Wolfe County and stole a dewalt miter saw and stand, dewalt cordless drill and driver, a nail gun, a yellow cord with a bunch of lights on it (for lighting up a work site), a bunch of black square outlets, and about 60 red oak tongue and groove boards.

I'm assuming this is someone building something in the local area. Please reach out to me if you know anything about it. (Again, I know its a long shot, but I've been working on this cabin for years and I am super annoyed)

Should I buy this lathe?

Please be gentle...

I've wanted a lathe for years, for small things like pens and such. I have a sawmill, so i have tons of wood, but I dont have room for much of a lathe (which is why I thought pens).

Someone posted this at work for $110. I was thinking of offering $80.

They said they've never used it, said it still works (they said they bought it 10 years ago but never got around to using it).

I know nothing about lathes...so i don't know if there are extra things I need to make this work or not...I know I need gouges or chisels or lathe tools or whatever they are called...but not sure if I need anything else for the actual lathe itself.

Just loaded my first batch, and it feels amazing

I had no idea I was going to feel this great about having my first batch running. So satisfying to know that its just working away while I sleep and work and go about my life.

Edit: loaded one side with green aventurine and the other with desert jasper

Can I skip to stage 2 with rocks like this?

Collected several rocks similar to this from a creek bed. With rocks that are similar to this with no cracks or pits or anything, can I start them off in stage two since the shaping and everything happened in the creek?

What do people do with their shiny rocks?

I've been wondering this since I decided to buy a rock tumbler...and then my wife asked this same question after hearing about my first rock order.

I'm curious what people do with all of their shiny rocks.

How to stabilize this plaque (and should I?)

Making these plaques for some kids I coach. I'm running low on blanks, and one of the ones I want to use has this small crack in it. I'm finishing them all with lacquer (spraying)

I cant fit my fingernail in the crack, its pretty small.

Should I try putting some glue in the crack to keep it from cracking further?

[US,US][H] PayPal [W] Bulk Reverse Holos or ANY cards that are "shiny" or have high HP

My 6 year old son got some of his first pokemon carda and he really likes cards with high HP, reverse holos, and "glitter cards"....basically he likes pretty cards and strong cards, which he equates to high HP.

Looking to make a single bulk purchase of a bunch of cheap ones that I can give him as rewards for chores or having good days or whatever.

Wainscoting ideas for a cabin

So I had planned to do wainscoting on the walls of my cabin. I've got red oak, sweet gum, walnut, and maybe another wood.

The cabin isn't like a rustic log cabin or anything. Has board and batten on the outside, but the inside is a bit on the nicer end.

Question is, can someone show me some good ideas for what style of wainscoting I should use? ....I'm kind of second guessing myself on my decision...ive already got everything ripped down to 1x6s and tongue and grooved....just looking for thoughts and ideas that might match the esthetic.

All I can find right now is this old video of the cabin. Floors are now all finished, walls are all painted a light gray. The downstairs big wall is going to be covered in long oak and ambrosia maple boards. There will be a translucent 18 ft long canoe with lights in it hanging from the ceiling on the first floor, just as a chandelier type thing, for ambient light, not a main light source

Saw a restock in progress

They had a line for it outside, and I was with my family, so wasnt gonna stand in line. But I was about 15 feet from the cards, so that was cool...

I coach a couple kids running teams, and I make plaques for each of them at the end of each season (different species of wood each season).

Last season was these ambrosia maple plaques, this season is sweet gum, next season is beech (from the beech log i just picked up today).

Bonus deer at the end (deer was watching me unload it)

Apologies...the plaques were supposed to be the first picture...
