fames fallax or now more commonly known as Mimics : a previously subterranean race of insect like creatures that take on the form or aspects of creatures they eat,any amount can constitue the disguise. They can take 3 forms. Origin ,first meal and a mix of the two named shin (as in new).

there are two groups of fames fallax. fames fallax: superior,higher intelligence and take mental traits from their meals like memories,behavior and habits. if a juvenile F.F-S were to consume their meal before reaching maturity,the meals personality would overide their own while causing memory loss and blocking the use of origin form until reaching maturity.

fames fallax-inferior are more simple creatures,still having the three forms but achiving shin much later in life than F.F-S they can still take the form of their meals,but keeping their original personalities and no memories.

in a scenario to show the diffrence of F.F-s and F.F-I. imagine they both ate a dog. F.F-S would act like the donoit alerting the owner until its too late. F.F-I would look like the dog but would not act like it,seeking similar environments that they lived in prior to the meal,aggression to the owner and immediate attempts to eat again.

an example of F.F-S is the main rider "dupe" name derived from duplicate and dupe: "to trick,cheat or lie to get something you want". he was originally a locust esque mimic that later ate a man named aki masatsune, a student who was on his way home. his consumption while dupe was a juvenile affected as said above, but due to a genetic mutaion,after consuming another being their make up is instead put in a disk like objecgt thats inserted into the "driver" on his waist to procure new forms.
