I have pip and lcwra, also starting university in England next month and will be moving out.

I rung the department last week to close the claim because I am starting university next month. The guy on the phone said it’s closed and you will not receive any more payments.

Then this Monday just gone I get paid £86.45 after the guy said on the phone that it was closed, then today I get a letter from them which I think is called a declaration form and it said I apparently was taking breaks in my caring when I was not. So I filled the form out stating under multiple questions that I did not take a break and that I called last week to close the claim because I am starting university next month.

This is really really stressing me out I just want this claim to stop why am I still getting paid and having accusations that I took a break when I didn’t??
My course starts on sep 28th I just want the claim to stop why are they making it so hard.

I’m 24m and I’m got in clearing yesterday for Manchester met.
This will also be a new city for me so I need to get accommodation quickly, I’m thinking of an en suite in iq chandos house but is the price worth it?

It’s a newly built building and looks very modern but costs £300 a week which I can afford. It’s also a 12 min walk to the uni from there.

Another thing that worries me is that my flatmates might be 18/19 and I’m 24… I would like to go on nights out so hopefully I can make some friends but I think it will be hard with the age gap.

I don’t really know the area around the accommodation too if anyone who has lived in Manchester for years knows about the area surrounding it please tell me more about it, thanks

I’m so happy and proud to be going to a decent university at 24 but the accommodation part worries me.

An en suite room is all I can afford at the moment and i will be sharing a kitchen. I think it might be weird me being 24 years old living in a flat with 18 year olds. However I do like the lifestyle of going out to clubs.

If anyone here has gone into halls please share your experiences and help me out.

Hey guys I am going to be studying chemical engineering and chemistry bsc, which is basically a 50/50 split between the two subjects then after I graduate from that I want to do a oil and gas engineering MSc.

Will this get me an oil rig career? It really is my dream to work on an oil rig for a few years, the schedule and hours really stand out to me and the thought of going to the middle of the ocean seems really cool.

I just need to know if this is the right path to my dream, I would appreciate if anyone has any advice for me comment below or pm me.

Hi guys I have an offer from LLC and I’m really considering it, I already have an offer from University of Huddersfield but the stuff I have seen online from the people who are students there say it’s a “bad university”.

Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone here actually studied at LLC, please tell me about what your experiences have been there, I am also 24 years old.

It’s looking likely that Mo Salah will be going to besiktas after leaving Liverpool for free and not too long ago he was in the contention for the balon dor.

I thought he would’ve still been in a big club, him joining besiktas is quite shocking, he had a good World Cup tournament despite playing through an injury so I thought a big club would’ve wanted him.

1 season ago he broke the premier league record for most goals and assists in a 38 game season, won his 3rd pfa poty, won his 4th golden boot and won his 2nd playmaker award. That was definitely the greatest individual premier league season of all time, but then next season comes and he looks a shadow of his former self despite having that incredible season just a few months ago.

Then he starts having problems with the manager and the club and eventually leaves at the end of that awful season. It’s amazing how he dropped off like that in such a short amount of time, 24/25 he had 34 goals and 23 assists then 25/26 he had 12 goals and 10 assists. I get that he’s 34 now but man the way he disciplines himself I would’ve bet he’d be at the top till he was 36/37. It does hurt a lot since he was my favourite player.

What do you think really happened with his decline?

I’m going to the uni in September and want to know what is this university like from actual students that have been there, I have heard that there is no nightlife which is a shame and apparently the tutors aren’t that good.

Hey guys I’m 23M 6’1 and 103kg, I have stopped weight lifting for nearly 2 years now and have put a lot of fat on.

Now I used to be pretty big and strong and I’m planning to go back to the gym and start getting into shape. I want to know how long will it take to get my muscle back? And will I lose fat and build muscle at the same time because of muscle memory? I’m going to be in a deficit for the next 2 months too.

Hi guys I have finished my access course and these are my grades.

24 graded credits in distinction
18 graded credits in merit
3 graded credits in pass
15 ungraded credits in pass

Now my university conditional offer says I need to get 45 graded credits at a merit or above, will I still get in? My university of choice is Huddersfield university.

If anyone else has been in my position and still got in please share your story with me so I can stop worrying thanks.
