Just sharing this because I for one have only recently discovered how fun a Melee only run can be in Fallout. lol So I created this mod to compliment the kind of busted "Fallout 3 Melee" mod by Dumbbus which removes all guns from the game. HOWEVER, I've now created my own mod to replace his and I call it "Gun and Ammo Scarcity". His mod introduced some bugs with missions and was pretty badly done so I just went ahead and made my own version to make guns scarcer than scarce!

Basically this puts the world back to the stone age, fight your enemies off with sticks and stones if you dare! It also accidentally fixes the economy while doing a Melee only run since you can no longer sell off loads of guns and ammo. All NPCs now spawn with melee stats and weapon load outs! No longer will you encounter people fighting with only their fists while holding ammo for some reason. lol

The mod can of course be used on it's own also but it'd be a bit weird for you to have the only guns in the game but you could do it! lol

My mod is called "Melee Weapons For All" and is now available on Mod Nexus.
I recommend also downloading my other mod "Gun and Ammo Scarcity".

I've also created a mod that adds Arming Swords to the leveled lists of enemies, loot and vendors if you're interested in that sort of thing. There are unique variants to find in the wastes as well!

My other mod "Arming Swords With Leveled Lists" is available on Mod Nexus Also.

I need it for an Aquasports 5272-LCD digital wristwatch. As you can see it needs to flare out to meet the side of the watch which is what makes this difficult.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :D

So I was selling at my local flea market and I typically repair and sell quartz and digital watches I buy elsewhere and someone mentioned they had a watch they bought from someone else at the flea market but they thought it needed a battery. I took a look at it and determined it was mechanical and needed servicing, so I offered him to take a pick of any of my watches and I'd trade him. Did I make a good trade? It doesn't run. lol Any idea how much it would cost me to get this guy going again?

Any info on approximate date of mfg etc would be appreciated also. : D

EDIT: for reference he said he paid 2$ for it from another flea market seller who told him all it needed was a battery. It doesn't run and he didn't know anything about watches so it likely wouldn't have been serviced once he found out how much it would have cost him. The watch I traded him was his choice, I offered 5$ or a choice of any of my working watches with new batteries and he picked a digital watch despite me trying to give him something nicer. My intention wasn't to rip him off at any point. Also this watch was dirty and the crystal was scuffed. I cleaned and polished it up before taking the photo.

I still can't believe we didn't get more C&C stuff in the first person. Been saying it for years but I would absolutely have loved some kind of open world RPG/FPS like Fallout but set in the Command and Conquer Tiberian universe. There's just so much possibility and I can't believe they just ignored that whole angle after Renegade. Honestly if I had any skill using the creation engine or understood coding I'd just do it myself at this point. LOL

This is my 1992 Macintosh Classic II and B&W stylewriter II printer. I also have a third party external SCSI drive enclosure that I put a blue scsi in and soldered the LEDs to the board so they blink when it's being accessed.

It's got 10MB of ram and a 20MB HDD internally, externally I made it an 80MB drive. I use Claris Works for writing. Also no beer for me just tea or coffee pls. :P

Just repaired this guy, I love fixing these cheapo watches! lol I plan on replacing the reflective material behind the screen since it was battery damaged.

Anyone else out there collecting and fixing these junky cheap watches? Seems like all I see are people karma farming with shiny new stuff.

Got this Quintel with another bunch of watches ages ago, but just couldn't get it to work but on Sunday I bought another beat up 80's two button watch made in HK for a dollar and decided to try swapping that board for the one in this watch and using the screen from this watch with the new board (the board on the dollar watch is all black and looks like it's not inverted but just absolutely dead). Low and behold after cleaning some oxidation and fiddling around it sprang to life!

I love working on these no name watches. lol

I'm having a heck of a time finding the correct size crown for this Delta Impex wind up watch. All the ones I have don't fit. It seems to be slightly larger stem than most other watches that I have laying around for parts.

Just bought this today for 3$ at the flea market. Can anyone tell me how old it is, it seems to be authentic since the internals are marked Bulova including the case back on the inside and outside.

The dial says M83600 and the inside of the back cover says C815071. I don't see any photo's of any that look like this.

I rebuilt one of the small shacks in Hub, I'm completely new to the game so I figured I could leave stuff on the floor. But I came back (I trekked over to the Holy Military Base ruin to see what it was) and all my stuff was gone. Is this normal can you only store things in boxes?

Most watches are really easy to get apart but for some reason this single timex I cannot get the back to pop back on. Getting it off was super hard as well... Honestly this is kinda of stupid. I even tried putting it in a vice but it still wouldn't go on.

Not sure if I did this guy a favor by bringing him back from the dead. lol

You can't really see it in the pic but almost all the gold is worn off this poor thing and the lens decal got damaged by battery acid. lol It's also missing one pusher for the light.

They are both cheapie no name generic Hong Kong made watches from the 1980's but I like the way they look and it would be nice to have them working. Does anyone know of any 3 button internals that might fit in one of these? I can provide dimensions.

I tried to get the original internals going, cleaned them with IPA, scrubbed all the contacts but all I could get was the light going on the Quintel and occasionally a single zero would fade in but that's the only activity either has showed after days of messing with them.
