Early 1990's (I think?) Sasson.

Early 1990's (I think?) Sasson.

Picked up this watch last weekend at a garage sale along with a bag of other junky no name watches for 10$. Polished it up, changed the battery and put a watch band on it and now it's back to working well. lol Can't really get more affordable than that! lol

It's just a run of the mill electric movement, the whole watch says made in Hong Kong on it but it is all metal construction and actually has a glass lens which was surprising. As far as I can tell just by aesthetics it's probably from somewhere around 1987 - 1993. Don't have any more info on it though sadly as there are no model numbers anywhere on it.

EDIT: Apparently this is a cheaper clone from the mid 80's sold by the clothing brand Sasson of a Concord Mariner. The more you know I guess! I didn't even realize it was a close imitation of another more expensive watch until I did a bit of searching. So it seems likely (based on when this style of Mariner was available) that it's likely from around 1982 - 1986 ish.
