I was watching the part where Oliver brutalized the mauler twins, and while Cecil has done punch-worthy things, I kinda felt sad when I saw Invincible nearly clock him when Cecil had been trying to calm Oliver down and comfort him. Am I the only one who felt that way in that moment?
We can infer that it happened after the haunting, since Green Prince claims it has fallen to thread and ruin, but given how he specifies ruin in addition to that, makes me suspect that the haunting was actually the final blow, not the specific deed. So, given how the deal to spare Verdania was made with the Conductors, what do you think they did that resulted in Verdania going from a verdant jungle to a goddamn wasteland?

Suddenly, shortly after Chrysaora regained consciousness in the glowing church, she smiled and undid the spell hiding the demon inside of her, before immediately casting a dark rune that undoes the protection Brill has over the glowing church. There aren't as many civilians here as there were when this first began, but there are still a decent amount
"I did as you told me, mistress..."
"Agh! What happened?!"

As it turns out, the demons have done a number on her, and she is now possessed. While she was previously calm, she is now acting like a rabid animal, eating the hearts of pilgrims and feeding many weak souls to her demon
Ever since Chrysaora obtained the fertility of a moss mother, she started breeding like crazy. After previously having 29 children, now she has boosted that number up to 51. (Including Kai)
At this point, the Scarab clan is beginning to become a more militant force with such numbers...
Meanwhile, Chrysaora is sitting on a bench, the moss shape charm sitting in her pocket.
