I am an incoming freshman and i am getting my haircut soon, i want to make a good first impression on people around me and i don’t really feel like looking like a complete dweeb. I’ve always had longer hair and I don’t particularly like how it looks short but I have to have it short so what are some good looking haircuts on the longer side (or more normal looking) that fall into regs?
Hello, I am going into my freshman year of college this month (exciting!!) and for my major (International Relations) at my specific university it is required to either do an internship, study abroad, or write a 60 page thesis on some aspect of foreign policy. In reality there is only one real choice, studying abroad. If you or anyone you know has done AFROTC and studied abroad how did it work? When did you bring it up to cadre? What is the difference between project GO and a standard study abroad? What do you learn there compared to a normal study abroad? Are there different requirements depending on where/when you go? My school has great study abroad program that goes to many countries. I want to look into Japan, South Korea, or Ireland as potential places to study. Any advice on how to do it, when and most importantly if I should do it would be greatly appreciated.
I am 18 years old, I’ve had a license for about a year and a half. In that year and a half I went and got myself not one, but two written warnings. The first one was when I was driving in my sister’s car which had a very expired inspection sticker. That was probably in about February of 2025 or so, then in May/June I was clocked going 45 in a 30 because I foolishly forgot to check my speed. I received a written warning in both incidents and now I am completely lost as to how i report them when I have no clue of the date of either incident. Will these seriously impact my AFROTC experience/rankings? Can this affect if I get a commission?
Hello, I am trying to finish up my WINGs today and it asks for civil involvements. It is incredibly vague and I was wondering if I submit my two written warnings. I do not have the tickets as one was last year for an out of date inspection and the other was a warning for speeding. If I don’t remember the dates that these occurred how can I submit them? Are they even eligible to submit? How will these affect my rankings/commissioning in a couple years time (hopefully.)
I get at least 4 spam automated calls about a loan I have never applied for, I deny the call and I am hit with a voicemail, it is incredibly annoying and they all come from 8XX numbers (I.e 811,822,833,844 etc) and they always call from a different number, I get up to 10 a day and it is beyond aggravating. How do I stop this.

I have a pretty decent computer and really good WiFi, on my laptop stuff downloads incredibly fast. I am trying to download new games and I am getting 4 mb/s, I used to get much higher. I haven’t changed almost any settings and it is SO much slower now. How can I fix this?
I can’t tell exactly what it is but something about this photo feels off, could it be the framing? Should I have cropped it a little more to make my subject even more of the focus? It would have clipped the plane’s wing but I’m not sure that would have looked as nice.
I am currently in the process of signing up for AFROTC and in one of the lists of things it states for enrollment documents is an SAT/ACT score, would I have to do the testing then sign up? I’d prefer not to take it but if I need to I would. When I search up whether I need one or not I often get conflicting answers and it frequently talks about a scholarship which I am not attempting to get.
I am going to join AFROTC this fall, I read somewhere that not everyone who does all 4 years gains a commission. Is this common? What disqualifies you? Is it hard to not get one or is it a struggle to gain one? Do people try and help you get your commission? Is there a certain time when you know you didn’t get one?
I don’t really see what is stopping someone from creating a solid ejection seat, I feel like there are the correct resources for it now.
This song that I heard a few months back that I really like eludes me as to finding it. The name I wanna say has the name "Trevor" or something beginning in a "T" in it or something along those lines, the album or band name has a weird "A.B.C.D.E.F." type name. I think the album cover has a maroon background, the genre itself If i remember correctly is either shoegaze or midwest emo. The start of the song has a really clean arpeggiated section with a lot of reverb and chorus. Its a pretty fast song. This is all I can remember, thank you.
I will be an incoming freshman doing ROTC, I keep hearing about the Arnold Air Society, what’s the deal, is there any benefit? Regardless I am still interested in the community service aspect but I was wondering if it affected class rankings and such as well.
