Housekeeper goodbye present.

Hello everyone. If this post doesn't fit the sub, I apologize. I have a wonderful, wonderful housekeeper. She has been with us for the past 12 years. She is the second one we've had, and she is amazing. She's truly a godsend. She's only hired to clean my house, but she always is bringing over meals or goodies. She loves my kids. She has brought them gifts on their birthdays. She's really watched them grow up. We see her often she is there every day. She gets paid well, I will say that. Or at least I hope we raise her pay every year, so I think she's very happy. She cleans my house as well as my parents house. But unfortunately, she is moving away. She is getting married and she is moving to Florida and I am so upset. (But obviously super happy for her! But I want to give her a really, really good going away present. She will still be housekeeping in Florida, so it can be a housekeeping-related suggestion or just a girl-related suggestion. I'm not sure. Or anything there is in Florida that you think she should have or i should give her a gift card to pleaseeee give me suggestions. My limit is $1,000. She truly deserves the best.

AITJ for basically cussing someone out for their comments about my son?

*this post was removed after only like 5 comments on am I the asshole so I am posting it here. I am not a bot*

My 18y/o Graduates in a few weeks, at his high-school they have many programs where you can basically graduate HS with a certificate in many fields (CNA license, ECE, phlebotomy, daycare etc;) so when my son graduates he will also be a qualified Daycare teacher, and he already has jobs lined up.

I was talking to a friend of mine about all my kids and we were just catching up, I haven't spoken to this lady in about 5 years but we ran into eachother and we decided to grab coffee. Anyways when I mentioned my son is said "Oh yeah and after he graduates, he will be working at \*insert daycare he will be working at\*" and she immediately made a face. I asked her what was wrong and she was like "he's going to be a male teacher? Working with 2 year Olds? Changing diapers?" She kept going but that was the basis of her rant. She straight up said my son must have ulterior motives for wanting to be in this industry. Or that he must be gay

I will be completely honest I did not handle this well. I went off, started cussing her out, people were kind of looking at us so I lowered my voice but told he she does not know my son, she has no right to speak on it, and that it's a good thing we have men and women going into fields that are typically for the other gender. I called her every name except a child of God, told her she was projecting because her father was that type of man, called her a homophobic asshole and left.

I think i might have went \*too\* far. I can get feral when it comes to protecting my kids, but I feel like maybe I said some things I shouldn't have said, and that I was wrong to do so in public

TLDR; I yelled at my fried because she said my son was weird fot wanting to work with kids

So, my babygirl is turning 5 soon. So, of course, we're going all out. But I need help! The two themes she gave us were Beyonce or katseye she said we could do either one and she would be happy i would prefer Beyonce becausei have no idea who Katseye eas until she mentioned it for a theme l. She's turning five, so we need everything. Decor ideas, party game ideas, party favor ideas, food ideas, her outfit/costume ideas. We need everything to match. Everything to go with the theme.

Tell me about your successful mothers day!

Again we got the sad posts, but i wanna turn it up and make it positive!!

My husband got me a new car! Which is so perfect because it's the same car my Grandaddy gave me on my first mothers day ever, my husband found a very similar car and had it updated and restored, im so super greatful. Its extremely meaningful and I told my kids they can't get in it 🤣

I also got flowers from my middle, my 18 year old and his GF bought me a really nice Bracelent, and my youngest gave me a jar full of kisses ❤️

Who is the best at physical comedy?

These are my 2 picks. Both Niles and Carlton were hilarious and used their bodies to increase that, but who are your picks?

I have 3 kids and have always always wanted more. I am beyond ecstatic that in about 4 months, I will be adopting a newborn babygirl (its my neices child) I'm beyond happy and excited and feel so blessed.

Here's where I need help, how do I make baby comfortable upon bringing her home, I unfortunately will be formula feeding (nothing wrong with it. I just mean baby does not get the comfort of the breast) and also i obvious know im not mom. Even though for all intents and purposes I will be. My neice will not be involved, but we do have an open adoption if she would ever like to meet her in the future) so long story short, in those first few months, how do I fully take care and support baby. I imagine it's some things I can do for extra support. I dont know maybe im overthinking

So what im looking for is an episode of a sitcom where a guy is going and getting his hair cut by an attractive woman, then one day he goes back and she is cutting another man's hair and he is upset

It is not king of queens

This is definitely a Sitcom, most likely anywhere from late 90's to now

I've seen so many negative moms day post so I wanted to see it anyone else feels like me.

My husband and kids have ALWAYS gone all out for mothers day,. Gifts, dinner, trips, jewlrey, home made things, quality time etc; ive never had a *bad* mothers day. Even the one where I got the least gifts was amazing because of thr timt I spent with my kids and because my husband did all of my mommy duties for that week. The most special one I got a trip to Aruba.

Me and my Husband always go to Flemings the night before, and a big dinner with all family on the actual day. Idk what my gift will be but hubby and kids have been hyping it up really big this time, i have no idea but ive been saying i want a new car, so maybe? I've also been saying i want these paper flower things, so maybe it's that? I don't know but im so excited!
