What’s the worst/best home made card you’ve made or received? I’m going to start making cards soon, I’m not artistic so I imagine the design will be quite simple. Thankfully this community seems very forgiving and my creations will find a home, I am grateful for that positive spirit :)

There’s an option to have it as a card or postcard - for the postcard I would be cutting the back off the card and it will be made into another postcard, at a later date. No pressure either way. I will try to accommodate preferences as best I can, if the card you want isn’t available, I’ll send out an alternate one unless you mention otherwise in the form :)

I am very new to this world, and may well have found my very own “stamp dealer” (the goods are on their way - I’m sure I’ll post when they arrive). Do you have a “stamp dealer” a shop that gives you a great price or a certain special someone that funds your hobby? If so, please tell me about them, what makes them a good stamp dealer and how they came to be in your life.

Edit: I’ve potentially found one, the transaction hasn’t been completed. I’m sure I’ll post when it is. On an unrelated note, I’m so ready to try my hand at stamp maths!

u/andyismean thank you for your post card from Mexico I hope you’ve had a lovely trip. Daffodils are a special flower to me, so the card feels like kismet. Thank you for sharing what you’re grateful for. I too enjoy fibre crafts and trying all the flavours of tea :)
I am so blessed, my mailbox was very full. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything this week so thank you all for surprising me.

Thank you for sharing your joy and talent with me. One day, I too will play with colour on paper/canvas. For now my art is relegated to fibre crafts, crochet knitting, soon to be spinning & weaving, currently trying to figure out the loom!

I’m happy you found a sense of ongoing blessed in this hobby. Being a part of this community is something I never knew I needed and now that I found it I can’t imagine how I’ve gone without it.
