Hey, I used my Artelac (hypromellose) preservative free eyedrops instead of my usual saline as filling for my scleral lenses and I noticed that my eyes felt WAYY better over the day, and when taking them out, didn't feel dry at all.

So my question is..Are there any negatives to doing this? I mean, my eyes right now do feel better and are less red compared to my usual eyes. I just took out my lenses and i don't get that very slight stinging from the exposure to air that I usually get.

Also, the eyedrops are a bit thicker than my saline, so maybe that has something to do with the comfort? And I'd also say that my vision didn't really fog up as much as it usually does.
