As someone who's lived around here for awhile, I figured it was finally time to take some pictures of this place. I'm also bored out of my skull trying to find a place of employment. I decided that instead of staying in my room all day, I'd go out and take pictures of the sights in Sacramento.
After living in California for 25 years, I finally decided to check out more of the state and do some road trips through NorCal and the Central Valley
The surrounding area I took the photos in looked a little too sandy and baren when I first got there, and then when I tried to find this area on Google Maps, I found out that it was once apart of the road with huge trees not even a year ago.
As a fan of One Piece, I definitely have some grievances with the story over the years. I'm curious to know; which out of the 3 is the most infuriating to deal with personally? (Also, IK this is a manga discussion and the last image is anime related. I think it gets across the message of how bad the pacing for this series can get).
Jax is a complex character. They're hated on pretty hard (for valid reasons imo. I don't think I could forgive them for what they did to Ribbit), but it has gotten overblown lately. I believe the hate has to do with the fact that a good amount of people have encountered someone like Jax in their lives. They're actions are portrayed pretty realistically (compared to antagonists like Darth Vader or even the Joker). When someone says a villain gets more love than Jax, even though they are much worse people, it's usually because the character isn't portrayed all that realistically cruel in comparison to Jax. People very rarely encounter people who acts like Darth Vader or the Joker in real life, but a sizable amount of people have probably met or hung out with someone who has similar character traits to Jax. (For reference, I got part of the way through the 2nd part of Season 3 before putting the series on-hold. I've seen what happens to Suika later in the series, but that's about it for my knowledge outside what I've seen)
I understand that the goal is to save humanity from petrification, but idk, there's something about the beginnings of this story that I find really interesting. Either that, or I find the conflicts we deal with later on as less interesting. I liken my feelings on this season to how I felt during pre-time skip One Piece. We get good character interactions, a nice sense of adventure, and the scope of the story and conflict isn't as broad as later arcs

IK Dandadan gets a lot of flack for not only it's first episode (which is fair), but also it's moments of fanservice throughout. Whether it be everyone stripping to their underwear to fight Nessie, or whatever is happening with the class rep character later in the manga, this series isn't afraid of going back to the classic anime tropes to get viewers. For the most part, I don't really mind those inclusions (I'm a Fairy Tail fan after all /hj), but there is one change the anime made that I thought was a great inclusion. For awhile, while reading the manga, I thought Vamola was wearing a full-body suit. Turns out, no, she's wearing what is essentially a leotard with long sleeve boots and gloves. To me, it just made no sense for her to be wearing something like that. The full-body suit just fits her better.
TBF, I'm sure there's manga with more interesting spreads. This is just the best one that I'VE read. They appear pretty consistently too, which is really cool. It's hard to imagine how the author keeps this series weekly
