So I was given a Hatsan jet II new in box for like $60 and some random parts I had. I set it up with an RMR and an NV laser on a solid rail adapter I had. Took it out back to test and with several types of ammo I’m grouping like 4 inches at just 15 yards or so. Absolutely unusable basically, as I hoped to use it for pest control. There’s no way I would feel good about making humane shots on rats with this if it’s got such terrible accuracy. Does anyone else who owns one of these have similar accuracy issues? I’ve tried 5 different weights of pellets and a couple light slugs and they all have horrible results.

My dad uses a ksg-12 for home defense. He keeps it right under his bedside table and has no light on it. I suggested he look into a proper wml for it if he plans to use it in the case of a home invasion and he agreed he should get that sorted. However I went to look at it and brought an assortment of my light setups with me and could not figure out how the designers expect you to actually mount a light on this comfortably. Any ideas or suggestions? The best I came up with was a pistol light on the front of the actual pump handle, but that still feels hella akward to use

It’s fuggered up pretty good. There is so much stock wobble that I’m hitting like 50MOA at 100 yds. Otherwise she runs and I have bulk ammo for it so I wanna do something fun to get it out to the range again. I’m in CA so there’s some restrictions but how many of you have an SkS and daydream about letting your inner bubba make the decisions? If that sounds like you what ideas do you have? I’m leaning toward a mad max universe SPR style chassis from scrap metal built around the receiver and barrel. (I have machinery and a shop to play with)

Having trouble sourcing the bike thst I want. It might be foolish to look for the old one if the newer X3 is actually just better all around, but I wouldn’t hesitate if I found a site selling the OG xxx without the revised suspension linkage. Anyone have input here?

I had bookmarked some components to build my own pvs14 using Chinese glass and surplus tubes, it would take a while, and I would end up with manual gain and bare features with no warranty and questionable parts quality for just under $1600 or so. For the same price I could order an infitac PG26 green phos monocular. Is there anything I should consider before making a choice here? I’m new to seeing in the dark.
