I'm currently dealing with a stressful international scam on Vinted (Slovakia to Poland) and wanted to share my story, get some feedback, or maybe help someone in a similar situation.

I sold a brand-new AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor worth €470. Everything went through the official Vinted "Buy Now" button. I packed it at home, using ONLY brown packing tape wrapped in a "+" shape. I took detailed photos of the packaging directly through the Vinted app questionnaire right before dropping it off at the AlzaBox.

As soon as the package was delivered to the buyer's ORLEN Paczka locker in Poland, they paused the transaction claiming they received 3 stones instead of the CPU.

However, the buyer made a few critical mistakes, and I managed to gather some evidence:

1. THE WEIGHT EVIDENCE: About 18 hours after drop-off, the package was scanned at the postal carrier's sorting hub, and the official registered weight was exactly 203 grams. Today, I went to a local tech store to weigh an identical factory retail box of a Ryzen 9 CPU – it weighs exactly 94 grams. Zeros out perfectly: 94g (CPU) + approx. 109g (cardboard shipping box + tape) = exactly 203g. This mathematically proves I shipped the genuine product.

2. THE TAPE EVIDENCE (TAMPERING): The buyer claimed to have an unboxing video but strictly refused to send it to me, only sending a few selective screenshots. On those screenshots, I noticed that the brown tape on the bottom of the box was cut open, and there was extra TRANSPARENT TAPE taped over it. I only used brown tape. This is 100% proof of transit theft or buyer fraud.

3. THE REACTION: When I politely pointed out that the box had a different tape on the bottom and that the weights perfectly matched the real CPU, the buyer panicked, stopped sending photos, and replied with: "See you in court".

Currently, the €470 is safely frozen by Vinted. I've already submitted a detailed report directly to Vinted Legal team with the 94g store scale photo, screenshots of the tampered transparent tape, and the buyer's text threats.

Has anyone gone through a similar high-value electronics scam on Vinted? How long does it usually take for the fraud department to resolve this when the seller has airtight proof?

Is there any chance i get my money?

Hi Guys. Just bought RTX 5070 and got 007 as a gift. Since its not my style i gave it to my friend who owns 5070ti, but he got an error message "your hardware has already been used in a request". Why? He cannot activate it?

Hi guys.

I bought an ASRock B850 motherboard second-hand. The board is still under warranty and I have the original invoice from a Polish retailer. Unfortunately, the motherboard appears to be faulty – dual-channel RAM is unstable/non-functional, while single-channel works correctly.

I've already tested:

Latest BIOS

EXPO disabled

Multiple RAM kits

Different CPU (CPU works fine in another motherboard)

Socket pins are not damaged

The Polish retailer has not responded to my emails so far.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Were you able to get support directly from ASRock or through a local distributor, even though you were not the original owner?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Včera sme s kamarátmi mali klasickú pivnú debatu o autách a cenách palív. Väčšina z nás uvažuje o kúpe elektroauta. Ja som už dávnejšie pozeral po Tesle model 3 ale z rozpočtu som kúpil motorku 😅 Po včerajšku som zasa ostal pozerať na elektro a našiel som e-golfy ktoré idú po 13-15K€ s nájazdom 20-80tkm. Reálne máte s ním niekto skúsenosť? Jazdím 90% času robota a domov (30km denne) raz do mesiaca za svokrovcami (100km) a možno tak raz do roka niečo dlhšie cez 200-400km.

Oplatí sa vôbec elektromobil?
