I was picking some gunk off this stuffed animal that my sister got me for my birthday some years ago and it left a tiny hole. It’s a stretchy polyester. Can I safely embroider a little heart over it? I don’t want to ruin it any further but i also fear if i leave it alone it’ll become a problem down the line.

A calcified fetus, or lithopedion, is a rare condition where a fetus dies in an abdominal pregnancy and becomes encased in calcium to prevent infection. It often remains undetected for decades, found incidentally via X-ray or CT scans. Symptoms may include abdominal pain, but many cases are asymptomatic. Treatment involves surgery if symptomatic; otherwise, it may be left in place.
A lithopedion is caused by an ectopic pregnancy, specifically an abdominal one. When a fetus implants outside the uterus, typically in the abdominal cavity, and dies, the body may encase it in calcium to prevent infection, forming a lithopedion. This rare condition, affecting about 0.0054% of pregnancies, is consistently linked to abdominal ectopic pregnancies in medical literature, with no other known causes.
My pool used to reflect the areas around it quite nicely. I’ve put a lot of time and money into fixing this thing. The guys (they are the best guys) I had working on it assured me it would be the perfect shade of American flag blue. It’s now turning an unsettling shade of Chernobyl green. What should I do?
I am so saddened to learn that JD Vance had been suffering from rabies for an entire year. The symptoms must have been awful: tingling or itching at the site of the bite, progressing to anxiety, confusion, hallucinations, and agitation. Not to mention the Difficulty swallowing, excessive salivation (foaming at the mouth), and hydrophobia (fear of water).
The disease is also typically fatal after only 14 days if not treated, so I believe he may have set a record for the slowest, longest, and most painful case of rabies in recorded history.
I read some stuff online and think I might have adhd. How do I know if I have it? What symptoms would I have?
