What’s this retro console called?

Edit: it’s HMG-2650.

When I was young, we had a games console. I’d say it was around the early 80’s that we got it, but can’t be sure if it was new at the time, or already old.

I feel it was branded hanimex (I’m in Australia). But maybe that’s false memory.

It had hard wired controllers, with quite a few buttons on the top plate.

When you change games, you also change a faceplate cover on the controller - to know the button mapping for that game.

Pretty sure it was grey/silvery in colour.

The controllers were rectangular, with a joystick / knob on them.

From my googling a colecovision looks similar, but not quite right.

Why can’t nvidia make their 12-pin 12v 600w connector work, but HP send 19v 330w through a tiny DC barrel connector just fine?

As titled.

Colespay and flybuys disappearing?

I read elsewhere (being an email from Coles, titled “Important update related to your Coles Pay account”) that both these services are being removed next month. Is that true?

Edit: it seems ALL people replying here don’t know how flybuys works for Cole’s online.
You can ONLY use flybuys via Colespay.
Coles have not announced an alternative means of using flybuys points once Colespay is gone.
The only comms I have from Cole’s is that there will be NO way to use flybuys for Cole’s online purchases.

.97 - logs quantity bug?

In my games I keep seeing too many logs reported under the ‘construction’ header (top of screen).

I have 28 in my logging yard, and 20 in the construction yard, yet it says 167.

Anyone else?

Building order bugged?

In .97 I notice that build queues have no consistency, or apparent logic.

It’s not first in, first out.

It isn’t nearest to logging camp / granary / etc.

If I have 3 buildings to make / upgrade, it just seems the goods get randomly taken to one place, and at some point in the future, they’ll get to the other place(s) I want built, too.

Has anyone worked out a logic?

Or is it another bug in this beta?

What’s the record lowest air pressure for Adelaide?

Seeking the relative figure, rather than absolute.

I’ve googled it, but can’t find an answer via any easy links.

It’s been down to 991 mbar today - which seems very low to me.

Plex auto unpausing - appleTV app

I can’t find an answer to this problem.

I only watch my own library - locally.

But if I pause a show, it unpauses about 15 seconds later.

EVERY time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Large Stone Church - won’t complete building

Edit: I needed active workers at the construction yard. I guess it’s something not yet added in the in-game text.

*****

It gets all the resources. The houses report it is available, but it still shows as needing 50% of the building (via the circle icon), and has no roof, plus all materials on the ground still.

DLSC011 milk carafe - knob o-ring

Where does the o-ring sit for the adjustment knob. Does it just go on the shaft and act as a bushing when you insert the knob into the main body of the carafe?

Does the o-ring need to be stretched over any part?

Do oxen only move logs? What do horses do?

Do ox also move items in the town (eg firewood, berries).

If ox only do logs, do horses cark the town’s internal cargo?

Or is it only people - by hand?

If so, why bother allowing people to staff the stables?

Audio level dropping - Apple TV

This started yesterday.

A file will start and play normal.

Then a few minutes into playback (on all files), the audio level drops by about 40-50% and also seems to lose clarity.

I can’t work it out.

Has anyone else had this?

Size and distance relationship - sun/moon/earth

I was doing some quick head maths, and noticed some odd coincidences (to me anyway).

Again, quick maths, not precise.

Sun is 100 times wider than earth.

The sun is 100 suns away from earth.

The moon is 100 moons away from earth.

How did it work out that these ratios came to be?

Why haven’t I heard of them before?

Patch .78 - wheat broken?

I’m in a farming region, wheat is 97% and barley/flax are approx 70%.

In the fields I’m only getting approx 35 of wheat vs 55 for flax/barley in the same field.

Any ideas why?

.78 is live for beta - changes?

I’ve just loaded up and see there’s an update.

I see different fonts, but the game seems the same.

it runs much slower at 3x speed :(

My food has run out before I had 3 houses built - starting with double supplies, in spring.

Beef still shows as a resource.

Is there a changelog easily available?

I’m glad this is a beta release - as it’s munted.

wk2 - stop all doors unlocking when i open liftgate

When the car is locked and i open the rear liftgate (automatic version), the doors all unlock.

when i close the liftgate, the doors dont lock again.

can this behaviour be changed?

either - dont affect the doors. or re-lock them when the tailgate closes.
