How to recover from this?

My A levels were average, I failed a University abroad (1.6 GPA as I remember and 2 Failed courses in first year), then back in my country I got into the top University (in our Country) after giving 3-4 ACTs with all my effort. Came back home after freezing a year since my attendance in Semester 1 was too low for me to even be able to sit for exams.

Came back into the university after spending 8 months at home and actually recovering a bit. Semester 1 again and my results were way worse than 'the worse' I had expected - things happened (breakup and home tragedies) but damn I wasn't expecting a 1.76.

I am doing my 2nd Semester all ready to turn my results around - got even worse and a failed course. By the end of 2nd Semester - I had at least taken 1-2 therapy sessions.

My father wasn't going to let me continue things but miraculously after all this (and telling him about therapy) he gave me another chance - doing summers right now.

Calculus is going fabulous while still I miss my morning MVC (Multivariable Calculus) classes, have missed all (2) quizzes taken yet and I got 18.5/50 in my MVC Mid. Haven't recieved my Calculus result yet but not too worried about that (even though it could've been far better and I know it).

I have all this knowledge that I am using in Calculus etc. from either A levels, ACT or when my Semester was frozen and I was back home - all these scenarios had two things in common - I lived in a toxic environment yet it was home and I was either restricted or completely did not have my phone.

I don't know why I am not taking things seriously myself and for myself and since the beginning of schooling I love doing projects, side hustles and side quests but not what actually matters for a "stable life." I even chose CS because I 'was' passionate for it and had been building websites for long - now AI Chatbots and Doomscrolling live with my procrastination. I wish it was better and I wasn't a disappointment to my parents while I am pretty sure this semester might be the deal breaker - going either ways. I used to be the shining star in our class getting 4.0 GPAs and now I can't even talk to my father. Please do lmk of your best advices that could realistically help me.

Thank you and it would really mean a ton to me! For added context we live overseas (so 'my home' isn't in my country)

Your view on Toss Pizzeria?

I absolutely loved the pizza from Toss. What are your views on the same? Apparently they don't even surcharge for taxes or service fees etc.

Where can I find the actual "Diet" Coke?

Haven't tried diet coke in my life while tried all flavours of classic coke and the infamous coke zero. Where can I find the silver diet coke in the twin cities? Have seen imported redbulls and monsters but never diet coke.

Oh and it's been a while, fresh Almarai flavored milk would be appreciated as well

I need to come back

It's been a while since I consistently prayed. I feel really bad and I wish I could come back to it. Allah hasn't left me alone but I still want to focus on my prayers. How do I come back and be consistent? What's a practical advice you'd give a university student?

What is the difference between ITP and NHMP driving licenses?

Basically the title. Would love the time, cost breakdown and ranking as well. As a student, want to make the best out of my time here. Also, I heard a few years back that overseas Pakistanis can get Pakistani license for their overseas ones - is that still applicable?

Jubilee Style public event

Me and my friends randomly came up with this idea of hosting a Jubilee/BETA Squad-style event (5 Islamabadis vs 1 Lahori etc. - you get the idea) for the people of Islamabad. It would of course be highly exclusive and not a "park-based" event but I needed the thoughts of the general public on the same. Maybe we can even collaborate on this and make it real!

Been ~9 months and I still miss her

I (20 M) can't quite comprehend what it is but I really can't seem to forget her (21F). The breakup phase (took me 2 months to make myself 'normal') was crazy enough, yesterday my friends decided to yearn about their ex partners and thus I went into my own ex's accounts and saved images and my overthinking spiralled me back to the breakup and so much worse - I started feeling really anxious.

I wish I could tell her all this (she was my best friend), she'd be understanding enough, the spark would come back and we would be back. Of course that's not how love works but my heart still yearns for her - despite knowing quite well how to move on and to move on I just don't feel like moving on. The thing is that she left me for a very fixable scenario.

We had been online (LDR)together for 2 years, and forgiven each other several times. This was really not supposed to end. I just don't really know why she fell out of love. I wish I could go back in time and fix the problem I did and this wouldn't have had happened. I had also planned to visit her city after just another month. And it's not that I am bored which makes me miss her, I am rather doing a lot better, I needed a heartbreak and I have won enough to be on my feet - but she gets most of the credit and I wish she was there to witness my wins too. And I still don't know why she kept some doors open. In fact we "formally" and respectfully wished each other birthdays so I don't know what's that supposed to portray either (our relationship ended about 10 days after our 2nd anniversary, and in the span of 3-4 months was our anniversary, my birthday and then her birthday). I miss her and I don't know what to really do about it.

Bored in Islamabad

Where can I find something fun to do or visit out here? I know we have the hikes but of course I will have to make my friends' mind up for that. Other than that coffee hopping is kind of getting boring and honestly expensive

Cooked up what I could in my mini airfryer hidden inside my hostel room. Turned out pretty delicious!

Title places in the twin cities to have Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken

I have been craving Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken for a while now and with the way these things are rarely eaten in our culture yet I used to eat these occasionally overseas, I miss them. Do let me know of the best spots in Islamabad to try/get them. I am ready to buy from any nearby home chefs too!
