NSUT Fee Refund Query - Paid 1.75L on 4th Aug. Last date for 100% refund?

Hi everyone,

I have submitted the NSUT admission fee of ₹1,75,000 on 4th August 2026.

Now due to some personal reasons I’m planning to withdraw my admission.

In the admission brochure it’s mentioned "100% refund if withdrawn within 15 days" but I’m confused about how they’re counting the 15 days.

Can someone please clarify:

  1. What is the last date to get a full fee refund? Is it 15 days from 4th Aug = 19th Aug? Or from the start of classes/counselling?

  2. What is the procedure to withdraw? Do we fill a form on the admission portal, send a mail, or go to the academic branch?

  3. Are there any deductions like processing charges?

If anyone has gone through this process recently or knows the exact 2026 policy, please help. Don’t want to miss the deadline for such a big amount 🙏

NSUT Civil allotted, paid 95k. Should I go for cancellation or wait for upgradation/spot round?

Hi guys,
I have been allotted NSUT Jaffarpur - Civil branch and I’ve already paid the 95k seat acceptance fee. But I don’t want to pursue Civil.

I have 2 doubts:

  1. Should I go to NSUT tomorrow for admission cancellation, or is there still a chance for upgradation in upcoming rounds?
  2. If I want to participate in spot rounds, do I need to pay the college fees first?

Also, if I don’t go for cancellation tomorrow, will my admission get automatically cancelled?

Any seniors who went through this please help. Thanks!

27F and 26M God saw me struggling and sent me the bare minimum summer situationship to finish me off

I matched with this guy on Bumble in May. We were both looking for a serious relationship, so from the start it felt like we were on the same page.

He's a surgeon at RML Hospital, so I knew his work schedule would be crazy. Around the same time, I had my exams, so I wasn't very available either. Because of that, we didn't talk all day every day, but whenever we did talk, it felt nice.

He remembered small details about me. He remembered every exam date and always wished me luck before each one. He'd ask how my papers went. He shared things about his family, his work, and even things he said he hadn't really shared with other people. He would talk about taking me out on a date and said he genuinely wanted to date me once things settled down.

One day I was in Connaught Place with my friends and casually asked if he wanted to meet. He said he really wanted to but couldn't because of his operation schedule. Honestly, I believed him because being a surgeon isn't exactly a 9-to-5 job.

Since both of us had busy schedules, I never expected constant texting.

Then suddenly, after June 28, everything changed.

No texts. No calls. If I texted first, I'd get dry, one-sided replies with no energy or effort. It felt like I was carrying every conversation.

Instead of assuming things, I asked him directly if he was talking to someone else. I even told him I'd rather know the truth than be left confused.

He replied with a dramatic, "Noooo."

I wanted to believe him.

But my gut kept telling me something wasn't right.

Out of curiosity, I opened Bumble one day and noticed his location kept changing. It was showing different distances in kilometers, meaning his location was actively updating.

When I asked him about it, he told me that because he has an iPhone, his location automatically stays on and Bumble updates it without him opening the app.

That explanation honestly didn't make sense to me. From what I know, Bumble needs location permission and usually updates when you're using the app. But because I liked him and trusted him, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Then something happened that completely changed my perspective.

One of my friends sent him an Instagram follow request.

He accepted it almost immediately.

We looked through his following list, and almost 99% of the accounts were women. Maybe that's not proof of anything by itself, but it definitely felt odd.

My friend then casually messaged one of the girls without mentioning me. During the conversation, she told us she had literally met him on Bumble a few hours earlier.

That was the moment everything clicked.

The excuses.

The disappearing.

The dry replies.

Everything suddenly made sense.

Even after that, I tried talking to him on Snapchat. The conversation felt forced.

At one point, I jokingly said, "So... you're going to text me after another 10 days?"

He replied, "Yes."

I laughed it off and decided to wait.

Three days passed.

No message.

Instead, I noticed he had removed me from Snapchat.

I messaged him on WhatsApp asking, "Did you remove me from Snapchat?"

No reply.

Twelve hours later, out of frustration, I sent exactly one word:

"MANCHILD."

Ironically, that got me a reply within two minutes.

His reason?

He said he removed me because "we weren't talking."

I actually laughed.

We weren't talking because he had stopped talking.

That was the exact moment I realized how stupid I'd been. I had spent weeks making excuses for him because he was busy. I ignored my intuition because I wanted to believe the version of him from the beginning.

He kept making excuse after excuse.

Finally, I told him, "I don't have crayons to explain this to you anymore."

That was my last message.

He never replied.

And for the first time, neither did I.

We simply disappeared from each other's lives.

For so long, I kept looking for closure. I wanted him to explain why he changed. I wanted one honest conversation.

But now I realize I already had my answer.

Every unanswered text was an answer.

Every excuse was an answer.

His silence was an answer.

His distance was an answer.

The fact that he had time to meet new women from Bumble while telling me he was too busy to even send a text... that was the answer.

I kept hoping he'd come back because I wanted proof that I mattered.

But people who genuinely want you don't leave you questioning where you stand. They don't make you feel like you're asking for too much when all you wanted was honesty.

In the end, I didn't get closure from him.

I got it from his actions.

Has anyone else ever stayed because the person they met in the beginning was so different from the person they became later? How do you stop believing someone's words and start believing their actions?

Bumble log out again again

I'm so sick and tired of Bumble logging me out again and again.

This has been happening for the past 2-3 days. I log in, swipe for a bit, and then boom - back to the login screen.

Tried reinstalling, clearing cache, but nothing’s fixing it.

Is anyone else facing this issue right now or is it just me?

DSEU Ranhola Campus - Where to go for Document Verification? Not happening at campus

Hi guys,

I have been allotted DSEU Ranhola Campus in the current round of counselling.

I went to the college for document verification but they told me that document verification is not happening at this college.

Does anyone know where we are supposed to report for document verification for Ranhola campus? Is it at a different DSEU campus or at the main HQ?

Also I want to *upgrade in the 4th round*. If I go for DV now, will it affect my upgrade option?

Please help. Thanks!

Doubt about DTU counselling: OBC rank vs CRL rank for OBC students

Hi guys, I have a doubt regarding DTU admissions.

If someone is from *OBC category* and wants to take admission in DTU, which rank do we need to check during counselling - *OBC rank* or *CRL/Common Rank*?

I’m a bit confused because JAc Delhi shows both ranks. Does DTU consider the OBC category rank for seat allotment, or do we also need to look at CRL for some reason?

If any seniors or anyone who went through JAC counselling can clarify this, it’d be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m a 27-year-old female. I just noticed some warts on my inner right thigh, and today they’ve appeared on the left side too. I’m really scared.

I was first diagnosed with herpes back at the end of 2023. At that time it was only one painless wart. I went to the doctor, completed my medication, and got vaccinated as well.

Yesterday I saw a group of warts on my right thigh, and today they’re on the left thigh too. I’m not in pain, but it’s definitely making me uncomfortable. I don’t know what to do and I’m really scared. I don’t want this to spread to other areas or to someone else.

Can someone please guide me? I’d really appreciate it if you could DM me. Is there any home redy or something that I can do ?
