Yes the Hedgehog family and the Cat family co-exist together just fine, the hedgehogs tend to come out later at night when the cats are asleep, but the cats do sometimes get their midnight munchies and sometimes they’ll eat together!
My 2006 SV650s has started having quite a laboured idle, sitting at around 1000-1100 rpms. Just turned it over today and it’s sputtering out this liquid from the exhaust which it hasn’t done before (no water or anything in it) + the exhaust is getting some pretty knarly orange burn marks as well as a burning smell while riding. Thanks for any help.
I’ve identified the sound as coming from somewhere around dashboard/engine area. The car makes the sound sometimes as I’ve just turned the car on, but mainly around 1800-2200 rpms while driving regardless of gear. Had a mechanic look for issues, asked them to check the heat shield, all joints and just the general structural strength of the car and they said it was fine and couldn’t find an issue. The car never used to do this until 5 months ago so I’m worried it may be a mechanical issue. The car still drives fine and pulls okay, I give it an italian tune up every week with it being a diesel but the noise is so annoying.
So when I open the valve with a flathead, the section above sprays out water, the tap itself works fine and this reduces the spray significantly when its running as theres less pressure. I’ve never fixed a tap before but would like to attempt it, just wondering what could be the issue, maybe a crack or bad seal? Appreciate any advice
