can i gain a significant amount of muscle?

hello😄 i’ve only started doing f45 at the beginning of july and ever since i started i became obsessed with it! (not an exaggeration haha) i’ve been going every weekday and have been taking the weekends off and just walk a lot of the weekends. with this, i’ve been doing pilates consistently for around 2 years and it’s been great for my overall mental health as well as my core because i have scoliosis🥲 but i found that just pilates didn’t give me the results i wanted so i tried f45 and found it to be super enjoyable! i’ve also done the gym a few years ago but found that i really didn’t like going especially because of how crowded it gets and having to do it alone (my friends aren’t interested in working out haha) anyways, i found that group classes are actually really enjoyable and makes me workout even harder!

sorry for rambling but my main question was will i be able to gain a significant amount of muscle doing f45? i would consider myself a beginner because even when i was going to the gym before, i was never lifting heavy. i think 5kg was the max i was lifting. (this was like 2022) but i’ve been wanting to get stronger and build muscle and in the f45 classes i try to lift as heavy as i can! obviously i won’t be able to chest press 10kg yet, but 4-5kg is pretty challenging and my coaches help me go til failure and i really feel the muscles when working out because i make form my top priority. if you could give me tips or just share your experience i’d be happy to read them! thank you ☺️

a little rant

i know a lot of people have it worse than me but it just really mentally drains me seeing my body in the mirror every day. i genuinely get disgusted at myself and trying to make myself think i don’t have scoliosis doesn’t help because it is already so deeply ingrained in my head 😕 wearing clothes makes me so extremely uncomfortable and i love fashion but because of my body, i just lose interest in everything 🥲

activity level

hello! my current routine has been reformer pilates + f45 every monday - friday, 10k steps (or more). i take rest days on Saturday and sunday and am quite busy during the weekend but still move around a lot. so i don’t have time to workout on the weekends which is why i do double workouts during the week. it’s what works for me fortunately and i have yet to feel burnt out. but i was wondering if i am considered moderately active or highly active. i’m trying to find my maintenance calories. thank you 🙏🏻

obagel calories

how many calories do you this bagel sandwich is? they have a wide array of bagel options but i typically go with plain. how much cream cheese they put and salmon is pretty hard to estimate..😵‍💫

schroth

has anyone had success after doing schroth? preferably if you’re an adult because i’ve heard it’s easier for it to work on kids most of the time. but i’m in my early 20s and i was wondering if anyone else had their curve significantly reduce with schroth or physical therapy.

question about maintenance

i’m currently at 1870 for my maintenance calories but i had a minimally invasive surgery and i don’t think i’ll be able to workout for 2-4 weeks which is unfortunate. i’m also not allowed to be active so i don’t think i can even get my daily steps in. do i stay at maintenance or should it be lowered? i don’t want to gain fat during this period😔 i’m already devastated that i can’t workout! i know i should rest but it really sucksss helpp

confused about my career path

i’m currently 19 and haven’t started college yet and don’t know if i will. i’ve always disliked school and the thought of studying and taking tests ever since i was a little kid. even the people around me know that.. but now that all my friends have gone to college already and seems like they know what they wanna do for their future, i feel like i’m constantly stuck in not knowing what i wanna do. i know i still have time to figure out but i genuinely don’t know what i’m good at or have skills good enough for a stable job that will make me a lot of money🤣🥲 the only thing i’m currently interested in is working out (pilates and strength training), eating healthy like going to healthy restaurants, cute cafes, and cooking for myself as well, shopping, going to the theatre, and reading (sometimes). i’ve thought about becoming a pilates instructor for the past 2 years but can’t get myself to do it because i’m very introverted and hate when i mess up while speaking. though i should not think that way because it’s all about practice and failure but idk. i’ve been trying to get out of my comfort zone and do different things to try and find out if other activities interests me but it’s been really hard. if anyone has any advice on how they found a career that they ended up loving i would appreciate some advice/tips.🙏🏻

question about my activity level

i lift weights 1-2 times a week and do pilates 4x a week and i also get in 10k steps everyday, sometimes more sometimes less but i’ve been very consistent with 10k steps for around 2 years! would i be in the moderate activity level or very active level? it’s because i don’t know if the current amount i’m eating is my true maintenance (because i put myself on the moderate activity level to underestimate instead of overestimating)
How long does a body recomposition usually take to see results? or have i been eating too little/ too much for my activity level? or should i stick with it and wait or increase/decrease my calories?
right now i’m eating around 1900 calories, 238g of carbs, 53g of fat, and 119g of protein. and i’ve been eating this amount since april.
any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!
