Question about 2nd floor vs 1st floor hvac.
Hey there, so my father and I are having a little debate. I'm saying that we need to turn on the first floor therm as well as the 2nd. Setting the first floor to like 74 degrees and the second to 76 or 78. I'm telling him since the first floor is hot, that's why the 2nd floor is much hotter but he's fighting me on "no we don't turn the first floor on" And wonders why even if the 2nd floor is blowing cold air why the 2nd floor therm says its 78+.
He's saying the first floor only works for heat, which is a lie cause when I turned on cool I could feel the vents blowing cold air on the first floor.
