Stinking up my tv smh

So I'm having an issue where some audio just won't play, such as the acoustic guitar in Space Oddity as a very obvious example of this. I don't know if it's certain audio tracks or just their frequencies that are the issue.

Originally i thought that maybe the built in speakers were were blown, so i bought myself some external speakers(magnetically shielded of course), plugged them into the tv and... same issue...

I tested all my devices on another crt of mine and it all sounded perfectly, so my consoles are not the issue here and neither are their cables. It's the tv.

So now I'm dumbfounded. What on earth could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

SOLVED! this was fixed by splitting the rca cable and hooking L&R straight to the speakers. I hope this post can help someone else in the future so I'm letting it stay.

Helped an old man clear out his cellar and he let me keep some stuff - two Hultafors axe heads and an angle grinder, so i put this together.

Someone told me to boil it to make it more form-fitting.... WHAT did i do wrong?
