Home/Life/Food/ All Maintance?

Hi everyone,

I feel no one is more organised and better at buying time as us WFH moms.

During pregnancy I decluttered a lot and sold a lot of fb marketplace, and built very good systems before baby as I was working all day, which included: clutter free home, speed cleaning schedules, closing shifts, meal prepping & freezing, food/other stocks, weekly and monthly food hauls etc.

After giving birth everything crashed as I was busy with baby and work and I am slowly getting back to the routines and organisation.

What are your life saving / time saving tips for running home or life in general?

How do you find fitness motivation?

Hey mamas this will be mix of rant and suggestion seeking.

How do you find time, energy or motivation to take care of yourself and stay in shape?

I am 6 months pp, and I have 1.5 kg left to lose to my pre-pregnancy weight.
During pregnancy I wanted to start working out pp and take fitness serious as I was going to gym prior pregnancy.

Now with wfh, childcare, homecare I don’t have time to shower or eat sometimes. My partner helps equally but baby wants all attention so while one is with baby other one is doing either actual work or preparing food, cleaning, laundry etc.

How long after starting did your baby learned to eat?

Hi moms,

We started blw 8 days ago and my anxiety is thru the roof, we do combination of big pieces and I also mash food with fork (just so she can swallow 2-4 spoons for food exprosure). Some days she is intereste dand engaged and some she is not. But she takes the big pieces and her gums are so strojg (no teeths yet) and bites the big piece.

I know everyone is saying they cant choke but I am still afraid.

When do they learn to bit the size they can chew and swallow, when can I expect a little more balanced coordination regarding the feeding?

WFH with +7 months and older

Hi moms,

I have been wfh freelancer for 5-6 years now and before and even during pregnacy I had very busy schedule, and I was reading this sub a lot, thinking I could prepare myself both mentally and practically for when baby arrives.

I thought I would stop working totally when she comes but I was working 1 day before c section, and only stopped while I was in hospital, and started working again as soon as I returned home.

Until now it’s been I’d say easy and better than expected even tho she is demanding baby and I spend all the time with her on the floor.

She’s 6 mo now and already started army crawling, following me around, lurking the phone and laptop and interested in EVERYTHING.

Up until this point she never saw screen, and we want to remain screen free until 2-3 yrs old.

More context is that I also do a ton of it on the phone as I rely on AI a lot so I do 70% while she sleeps on me. My husband is also wfh so he can help whenever and my mom and MIL come here and there when I am having very busy week.
Unfortunately we can’t find nanny for months we are looking for one but no luck.

Can you share your experience how you manage screen free baby while you wfh?

Introducing 2nd lunch?

Hi mamas - how long after starting solids did you introduce 2nd meal? We are 6 months and in my country recommendations are 1.5–2 months of only one meal and then start introducing lunch then 1.5-2 months then introduce dinner.

When did you start introducing more meals?

Can I use this one my face?

Hi everyone - I got this for my LO but realised we may not use the whole tube before expiry date. Can I still use this for my face?

Is this enough SPF?

Hi everyone,
Is this enough SPF amount for face and neck, its 1/4 teaspoon which is like 0.25 ml

I always found fingers amount unrealiable and being type A I thought more precise measurement would give me peace of mind. I just fill it to be full to the top.

Tret or Retinal?

Hi everyone - I am 27 y old. Should I build my skin tolerance with Retinal first then introduce tret in 1-2 years or go right to the tret?
My skin is very sensitive, barrier gets damaged easily.
Currently using Azelaic acid 15% daily at pm

My goal: so AZ gave me best glow I had since startign skincare, so I am looking to somewhat increase the glow with retinoids, and also keep my hormonal breakouts on cheeks in check, I do tend to get large or clogged pores so hoping that will solve it too.
On side note I am getting no younger😑 so I want to start anti age battle and I know either retinal or tret are golden standard.

Current routine:

AM:
no wash
Calming serum + abscorbyl glucoside
Moisturiser
Spf

PM
Double cleanse
AZA
Calming serum
Moistuiser

Vitamin C alternative questions?

Hello everyone,
Even tho everything online is praising Vitamin C serums, I have tried probably like 10-15 products in my lifetime, and each had same effect on me: HORRIBLE. I would get blackheads (probably whiteheads oxidizing), inflamed skin, large pores, DULLNESS, skin tightening, breakouts, basicallt every worst thing on skin. And sometimes even it would make my face and fingers smell so bad like oxidation I should be kept from other people.
I also tried abscorbyl glucoside and its milder bad effects but still the same.

Is there anything that gives good antioxidant properties in the AM I could use?j

Niacinamide 10% also breaks me out btw
I use Azelaic acid 15% now, and will introduce retinal 0.05% after summer.
Context: my skin is sensitive, especially around nose, get PMS hormonal breakouts.

Does these 2 feel/work the same way?

Hey everyone - so basically Balea Night Cream is something that with AZA has transformed my skin in unspeakable ways. Unfortunately I only order it from Germany when someone is coming so I only have day cream available until late September 🫣🥲

Could you please let me know if they feel or work the same way?

I never used this day cream, I had daily one with lsf 15 and it was horrible, I hated it and thrown it away, and kept using the night one.

The ingredients list seems exactly the same but still I am skeptical because I never tried it

Does this 4€ SPF really provides enough sun protection to your face?

I had no idea about Revuele or Revox SPF and they’re so cheap. I used to use only Eucerin Oil Control 50 and it was great but its very expensive 😢
Does this provides that good sun protection as more expensive ones?
I bought this btw and its very light weight feels almost like Eucerin.

I tried also Sundance and Garnier and Revox SPFs and they feel weird on the skin.

Hi everyone,

I was recently pregnant and because I couldn’t use any actives more or less I used Azelaic acid 10% from Revox which costed 5€ 😂

I have been paying so much money over the years for random luxury brands and hype products and burn so much money and results were none my skin was horrible and yet this 10% azelaic acid gave me best skin I ever had since 15 years old 🫣

I have bought azelaic acid 15% from pharmacist who made it himself, I am attaching ingredients.

I have been using Revox 10% AZ 3-4x week for 4 months now, but I want to increase strength to get more glow and brighter skin overall.

My question is, should I:

  1. Do 10% 2x week and 15% once per week
    Or
  2. Slowly introduce 15% only (like 2x per week for few weeks, using sandwich method etc)

What do you think will give me better results?

*my skin is very reactive to actives, I have mild redness around nose, so I have to be very careful
*i tried this 15% last night and woke up with mildly dehydrated skin, just a tiny bit of irritation but I used hydrators etc so its good
