okay so theres this guy, we were best friends until he shifted to another country and slowly we drifted apart. but after 2 years, this june we finally started calling and talking again. 3 days ago (Sunday) he asked if we could meet and so we both met alone at the mall, we roamed around, went for lunch together and went to the arcade.

Since we met after 3 years i bought him a shirt and he didnt buy me anything so he was js like "ohh you didnt have to. Now when we were roaming around we came across this really stupid but cute looking bag and started laughing at it. Now it was about 3 pm and i went back home first.

NOWWW in school, on TUESDAY so like 2 days later his friend comes up to me and gives me the SAME BAG saying "hey he asked me to give this to you"

Now i dont know how to feel, it could js be that he reciprocated for the shirt since he didnt buy me anything but still, he couldve js bought it for me when we saw it, but instead he went back to the shop bought it and didnt tell me.

PLEASEEE COMMENT WHAT U THINK, AM I JS GOING CRAZY OR IS THERE SMTH?

me and him were like best friends in our freshman year but then he shifted to another country, yet we still used to call and play games whatever (we are still in our freshman year here) but then over a year we just drift apart and stop talking but it wasnt like a fight it was just 2 people that stopped talking naturally.

now we both are in highschool, this year june we started talking again and the first call we went on lasted for 5 hours which was basically him telling me how bad his life was going and me listening etc etc js us catching up but ofc things werent the same as before

we are really good and close friends but not best friends

now, he is back and town in has caught up with all his friends and stuff, i thought he wouldnt wanna meet up with me since we recently got close again. BUT he messages me saying "can we please meet this time" and i say "YESS"

so we are going to the mall, gonna go to the arcade and then have lunch together but only us two.

for me going out alone with a guy especially to an arcade and then lunch seems very romantic cause i have NEVER hung out with a guy alone. Since we have made this plan i havent been able to sleep properly since i feel so excited and somewhat attracted towards the thought of us spending time alone. and im not going to lie i did like him a bit when we were best friends and stuff.

now idk if he just thinks of me as a friend and just wants to meet or like he feels some other way too.

i might just be over analysing all this so please call me out!!

SUMMARY-

We were best friends in freshman year, but after he moved abroad, we slowly drifted apart naturally. This June, we started talking again and got close, even having a 5-hour call where he opened up about his life. Now he’s back in town and catching up with all his old friends. I honestly didn’t think he’d want to meet me since we’d only recently gotten close again, so I was genuinely surprised when he texted, “Can we please meet this time?” 😭 Obviously, I said yes. We’re going to the mall, just the two of us, for the arcade and lunch. I’m ridiculously excited because I’ve never hung out alone with a guy like this, and it feels weirdly romantic. I used to have a little crush on him too, and I think those feelings might still be there. But I have no idea if he sees me as a friend or something more. Im 15 and i am an aspiring filmmaker, I signed up for this film festival and was really looking forward to seeing the results as i thought my film was pretty good, woke up today, opened my mail and found out i didnt get selected ;-; feeling a bit dejected but it is my first ever festival sosososo aaaaa ill js do better next time! why are they posting 1 video in 1-2 months? im sick of waiting for videos just for them to be 15 minutes long and even on slayypop its mostly js cricket or boring online games. I miss when they used to play games like carrom even beyblade along side online games.

I had been waiting for my birthday since the past month and when the day finally came, i got sick and couldnt do anything + cried 3 times

ok so basically in my school i was selected for this event, and was paired up with this guy. It was awkward at first since we both didnt know each other but then i started the convo and by the end of it, we started talking normally as friends but then right after that day we never talked irl again, i even sent him a message on insta but he js liked it..;-; i really want to message him again!!
