Dilemma

I'm 25M, and my girlfriend is 31F. I met her when I was 20 and she was 26. We have been together for four years, and everything has been fine, but now the age gap has started hitting me hard.

I'm doing well financially, and my girlfriend really wants marriage, but I'm not ready. Given my current situation, I've told her that I might be ready in the next 8–10 years. However, our timelines don't align because I want kids, and considering her age, I might be putting her at risk by asking her to wait that long.

As a side note, I recently met another girl, 23F, who is now my side chick. We met her at a social event with my girlfriend, and this girl started hitting on me, saying she wants me to be her boyfriend and that she wants me to marry her. She's been very insistent, even though she knows I already have a girlfriend.

I'm torn between breaking things off with my current girlfriend so I can focus on fixing my life, but I also don't want to immediately jump into another relationship.

Do you want to be a sharp boy.

Guys mmechoka kubaniwa online by western platforms for no reason 😂 or losing gigs because someone leaked on TikTok 💀 I think I’ve got a solution for this 😭

Post:

Honestly this is getting too normal…

You’re working fine → suddenly ❌ banned

“No explanation”, just policy violation

Or someone leaks a deal on socials 💀 → opportunity gone instantly

No control. No protection. No clarity.

So we built something different.

SharpB 🗝️

A trust-based system for real online gigs, AI work & remote opportunities.

Not open for everyone.

Not chaotic.

Not random.

🗝️ You don’t just join:

Waitlist → filtering → trusted users get a Secret Key → access unlocked

No key = no entry.

🛡️ Built because platforms are too open, too risky, and real workers keep losing opportunities unfairly.

👉 Go to the website 😭 for more

and grab your key now 🗝️

I need to boost my portfolio.

I want to boost my portfolio by building websites for small businesses on the side. Noticed most of them were either paying way too much or getting burned by cheap templates that never show up on Google. Happy to help if anyone's looking for an SEO-friendly, fast, and actually affordable.

I've been lurking here for a while and figured it's time to actually post. I'm a full stack dev with 3 years of experience and I've been taking on freelance web projects on the side.

My stack: C#/.NET on the backend, React on the front, MySQL for databases, and I handle the whole deployment side too( hosting and domain setup), CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Basically if you need something built and shipped, I've got it covered end to end.

What I've noticed is a lot of clients come to me after working with someone who just "built the site" and disappeared. I actually stick around, write clean code, and set things up so they're maintainable long term (not just a pile of duct tape that works until it doesn't).

I'm not trying to be the cheapest option out there, but if you want something done right the first time without babysitting the process, that's where I come in.

Open to projects of most sizes, landing pages, business sites, internal tools, whatever. Drop a comment or DM me if you want to chat about something you're working on or need built.

I'm a developer and I've been building websites for small businesses on the side. Noticed a lot of them are either invisible on Google or have a site that looks like it was made in 2010.

Not trying to sell anything here, just wondering how you guys handle this. Do you rely on word of mouth? Facebook? Do you even think a website matters at this point?

Asking because I'm trying to understand what's actually useful vs what people just say sounds good.

Small business owners, how are people finding you online right now?

Genuinely curious. Google? Word of mouth? Social media? A mix?

I ask because I work with small businesses on their web presence and the ones growing fastest usually have one thing in common a simple, fast website that makes it easy for people to say yes.

If you're relying purely on social or word of mouth and wondering why growth feels slow, your website (or lack of one) might be the missing piece. Happy to take a look at your current setup and give honest feedback, no pitch, just a real conversation. let's talk and bring those ideas to life.

I've been trying to get clients on Reddit for 6 months. Genuinely curious what I'm doing wrong.

I'm a full-stack developer (C#/.NET, WordPress, MySQL) and I've been putting myself out there here for half a year posts, comments, offering free audits, the works. Crickets.

Not here to complain. I'm actually curious: for those of you who've landed real clients through Reddit, what did it actually look like? Was it a specific sub? A specific type of post? Did you just comment helpfully for months until someone DMed you?

I keep reading "just provide value" but I'd love to hear what that looked like in practice for someone who's actually made it work.

Full-stack dev here, C#/.NET, MySQL, Tailwind, WordPress. I build things that work and don't need babysitting. Taking on a couple of new clients. If you have a project, let's talk scope. No sales pitch, just a conversation.
