Drug addiction, high demanding job, and depression/anxiety

Hello everyone! I’m a 23m for reference.

I live with roommates. I’m not one to complain and I genuinely hate feeling like a “victim”, and I think I harbor a lot of self hatred for the way I’ve been feeling lately. I work in sales, I’m making about 80-90k a year and quickly heading for 6 figure territory. I’m super stressed/depressed. I’m making great money for my age, but I’m spending anywhere from 1-2k a month on drugs. It just keeps getting worse. I’m headed for a collapse and it feels like all I can do is watch. I’ve grown very accustomed to the lifestyle I live and I can’t imagine taking this drastic of an income hit while I get my shit together.

My issue is that I’m fully dependent on drugs. Opiates to be specific. I’ve always had depression and very bad social anxiety (I’m diagnosed autistic when I was 21) and I cannot function unless I’m blitzed. My income drops to probably the 40-60k range if I’m sober. I just have such bad crippling social angst. I guess I’m just ranting. I don’t know. I know what the comments are gonna be. Anyways, anyone in a similar situation?

240->185 progress

240 (40% bf via dexa) down to around 185 (my guess is 19%, but I really don’t know). It’s been about 6-7 months since I started training and dieting seriously. I’m aiming for 175. I’m at the point where the weight has realllllly slowed down, but each pound is starting to drastically change my appearance.

Does 175 seem like a good stopping point (about 10-15lbs away) or should I go lower? Should I stop now? I’ve never had abs before and they’re finally starting to atleast somewhat show in the right lighting. Any estimate on my body fat as well? Can anyone point out strengths and weaknesses? Any areas lacking/any areas doing better than others? Dont have any current leg photos, but they are proportionate. 22m 5’11 for reference.

How to deal with diet burnout?

Hello! Been training very hard and doing IF for about 5-6months. 240->190 right now. I’m trying to squeeze out 10-15 more lbs without losing a ton of muscle.

My question is, how do I deal with the burnout? I’m working 9-10 hours every single day, get home go to the gym and then do my OMAD. I’m fucking EXHAUSTED bro. I took about 1 week off dieting and ate whatever I wanted, I figured the extra calories would help me bounce back. I ate donuts icecream chocolate whatever I wanted, it felt like I needed the calories. Now that those couple of days have passed, I’m back on OMAD and training high intensity. The first workout back felt GREAT, but now 3 days later I’m back to being exhausted.

Could this be a combination of working long hours everyday+deficit+so much weight lost already? I really want to do these last 10lbs but fuck it’s getting really hard. On the bright side, every pound lost between 190->180 has such a drastic effect visually. Atleast that parts cool.

Estimate my body fat please

Hello! Been doing I.F. and training super hard for about 6 months. 1st pic is when I started around 240lbs, other pics are where I’m currently at around 191lbs. I’m shooting for 180lbs and then going to maintain, does that seem like a good idea or should I go 170-175 range? My guess is I’m between 19-22% body fat.

M22 5’11 for reference. 6 foot with the poofy hair.

Any advice? Anyone know?

Hello! I’m a Verizon indirect worker. I’m finally going to be switching over to an employee plan with Verizon after about 4 months.

Some questions I have, what credit score do I need to finance a device? Does it matter because I’m an employee? My credit score is bad. I made some poor choices a few years ago and I’m dealing with the consequences.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit to add: I got approved all the way to the view together online. Is there any reason it will fail when I go into a corp store?

Help a hungry noobie ensure his success

Hey everyone! First year in sales. I’m in the gutter. Starting b2c sales for Verizon. I have a few questions. I’ve only been in commissionable sales about 4 months, I have sales experience but I wasn’t making anything. This will be my 3rd full pay period (2 weeks per period) I don’t want to sound proud, but I’ve always had a very easy time building relationships with people. How do I play to this strength in a meaningful way?

Firstly, how door aggressive do I need to be? Is it going to be sharpest elbows? I’ve been experimenting, my first pay period I was very door aggressive, the second pay period less aggressive and focused more on maximizing my interactions. Both paychecks I made about $500 commission (someday it’ll be 5 grand but here I am for now haha). Which one will be more beneficial long term? Where will I find more success? I’m sure the answer is probably somewhere in between.

Secondly, my store doesn’t have a TON of foot traffic. I’ve gone entire days seeing 3 customers or less. I’m too new to the point I struggle finding something to sell to everybody, even though I hold the belief there is SOMETHING in the store for EVERYONE that walks in (whether that is a promotional item, something off the wall like a charger, etc). How can I ensure I’m making decent money (my goal right now is $1000 commission check, I was pretty close to hitting a goal that would’ve put me there first pay period)? Anyone killing it in retail sales, what do you do about low traffic? Or is that just part of the game?

Anyone have relevant experience working retail phone sales maybe even specifically Victra?

Whose ult is objectively dogshit?

Was just thinking about this. Does anyone stand out specifically? Or do they all have niche sometimes very good use cases?

One that comes to me is ezreal ult. I know I’m ass at the game, and have seen people use it correctly, but for me I NEVER find value. I get his ult scales heavily with player skill. Who else has a bad ult in your opinion?

What to expect the next 15-20lbs?

Hello everyone! I’m 5’11 for reference and 22 yo male. When I was 19 I was around 175, gained a lot of weight at a desk job, finally decided it’s time for a change.

I started I.F./working out really hard/consistently around 3-4months ago. 2 pictures I’m including, the first one I am close to 240 lbs (body fat scan said I was around 39% “obese”) second picture taken a few days ago I’m about 195lbs. So around 45lb difference. I asked ChatGPT a few things, it estimated me around 19-21% body fat now. It said I should aim for around 175-180lbs, after I said I wanted to get down to 160lbs. It told me that the next 15lbs will have a bigger effect on me looks wise than the first 40lbs because I’m “revealing muscle” as opposed to losing fat.

Does anyone have relevant experience? It told me I can expect the biggest changes between 190->180 and the “big change” happens in that window for most people. It told me around 178-180 I should have visible upper abs. I don’t want to get my hopes too far up but this is a lot closer than the 160lbs I was estimating I need to get to.

Another question I have, when I was 19 175 before I didn’t have abs. Granted, I feel stronger and I’m sure my body was still growing at the time. Is 180lbs really a safe assumption to make for when I’ll start looking “athletic” rather than someone in fat loss transition? (Obviously I’m not expecting pure cum gutters at 180, but it told me I should have a visible outline atleast upper abs)

Any experts in here? Thanks guys and good fasting to u all.

Is once a week enough for legs ?

Been in and out of the gym for years, about 3 months into it this time.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to skip. I love training legs, it’s my favorite muscle to train (I think I have the apt amount of self loathing required to love training them) but I train them super hard to where they are sore for like 5 days afterwards. Does this mean I’m training them hard enough to where once a week will work? Or should I still train them when they are sore, and just do lighter weight?

Why isn’t attack speed more popular?

You’d think with vaynes W proc attack speed would be more popular. Maybe they are and I’m just bad? Or is Botrk/rb more synergistic and higher dps than, idk, runaans and phantom dancer?

Hello!

I’m a vayne player, and her standard build is bork-> rageblade-> hexplate.

Can you explain why she likes Bork? And hexplate? Which matchups do u change the order? And what exactly does she like about Bork? I’m assuming the hp damage goes very well with her w. Am I right? Or does she like the slow?
