Been having a few mod mails about deleted posts - just so you all know, the subreddit is currently on lockdown. Your post hasn't been deleted, it's just waiting in the mod queue to be manually accepted. This is so we can avoid spoilers & leaks entirely, as we don't want anything about Werwulf being spoiled for any of you.

Hey everyone!

I've recruited a few new mods recently to make things run smoother when the Werwulf trailer drops. The moderation team currently consists of mainly British & American mods (with a good egghead from Italy).

I'd like to cover as many time-zones as possible so when the sub goes into lockdown (to deny spoilers) we can keep the sub active 24/7.

If there are any users from places like Australia, Japan, India, China... or any other time zone, please send me a DM! I'll delete this thread soon to avoid clutter. Experience isn't necessary. As long as you can keep your ego in check & not be a typical Reddit mod (and you're passionate about Eggers' movies) we'll most likely take you on for a trial!

I won't make another thread like this for a while, so apologies if I'm clogging your feed for now. I try to lurk in the shadows. Hope you're all doing good!

If you're interested in joining the moderator team here, please fill out the mod application. As information comes out about Werwulf, we will likely have an influx of new visitors.

When Nosferatu came out, we gained a much bigger following in a short period of time. Seeing the insights saying 12+ million hits was a huge step-up from the meagre hundreds of hits we used to get per month. But unfortunately, a lot of users tried to post unmarked spoilers, off-topic spam & a whole bunch of other weird shit (please do not post your penises this time round).

When the first trailer of Werwulf is released, I'll put the subreddit into lockdown. All posts will be sent to the mod queue & will have to be accepted manually. This is just to avoid potential unmarked spoilers being posted. But as the mod team is small, it might take some time to accept posts. So the aim is to get more active moderators from multiple time zones.

This subreddit will be a spoiler-free zone in the lead-up to Werwulf.
