I have away a shift to someone and used sick time to get paid. It’s labeled as a personal day off on my schedule. I can still use my maingate and guest passes that day, right? My plan was to meet some friends after a dentist appointment.
Saw a house pop up for sale going at 325 and did a 5 minute dig into it. Turns out the original owners bought it for 90k in the 90s brand new. They updated all the major stuff (roof, paid off solar panels, hvac, water heater) and then sold it for 220 last year. The new buyers? A corporation who is selling it 8 months later for 100k more after the original owners did all the hard work. Took a genuinely good deal in a good neighbourhood and are trying to price the average family out. They own three other houses in the neighbourhood that are on the market too. All over the average sale price.
I’m selling my car to a coworker who’s flat broke for $2k because that’s what the dealership offered when I brought it in for its last maintenance. She and her partner are sharing a car to get to work which sucks and they really need it. But I’m also seeing my exact make and model with higher mileage going for anywhere from 3-10k on fb marketplace and even higher on used car sites. She also can’t pay immediately. She can give me $500 and then pay the rest off in the next two months (supposedly). I’m treating it like a charity case at this point but damn in this economy I wish I’d gotten more money out of the deal.

I know on Broadway you can get cheaper tickets if you go to the box office the day of. Does anyone know if they do that here? (I feel like they know they’re the only big theatre and can raise prices like crazy)
It’s from Penn Credit on behalf of FDoT. It got sent to my old address in Massachusetts (my dad’s house) and it doesn’t say what car/license plate the toll incursion is tied to. The online portal says it was incurred last year, when I was still driving a car registered to my mom (who has the ez pass on autopay and had New Hampshire plates). The account has my name, but uses my old address’s zip code to log in/pay. I haven’t legally resided there in 4 years. Is this a scam or should I actually call and contest this?
So I watched the movie, read the book on Libby, and now I want the physical edition. My local bookstore has the “movie tie in” edition. Based on the wording, is it assumable that there’s some changes in the book, or is it just the cover art? Ever since reading Eragon in elementary school I’ve been suspicious of the movie-version cover editions.
