What’s it like playing imports on a pal Saturn preferably from the perspective of someone who lives in pal territories?

I hear they run worse (slower, black bars and off sounds or music) but to what extent is this a problem to you? Pal games already have black bars (or at least my ps1 always has (although not with imports but I hear that isn’t the case for the Saturn)) and it’s never really bothered me and pal games usually run slower anyway, so is it just in line with the rest of the pal library and only really noticeable by people who’ve played on 60hz consoles or do you notice it running bad as-well?
Also how bad is the sound and music problem in your experience?

I was looking into the Saturn and quite a few of the games I want to play are imports or burned games (for the likes of fan translation), specifically

Astal, King of fighters 96, Samurai showdown 4, Saturn bomberman fight, Gundam side story 1,2,3, Shtokou battle 97, Prikura daisakusen

And for burned games

Bulk slash, magic knight rayearth, Shinrei jusatsushi taromaru, Sakura wars 1,2, princess crown, radiant silver gun, policenauts, grandia, panzer dragoon saga, linkle liver story, Albert odyssey

I’m guessing if imports run a lot slower fighting games may be affected horribly but I don’t know for sure.

Any opinions would be appreciated

I was looking at getting a Saturn in the near future and would like to know if there’s a cartridge that has the memory card, ram expansion and action replay in one?

Obviously I’d like the memory card for saves, but I also want the action replay for imports and the ram cart for snk and fighting games (that will be imported), so can you get one with all 3 or will I have to do a lot of switching? And can you even switch from the action replay to boot the game then the ram to play the game then the memory to save?

just as the title says really, I just bought my first import and need to burn codebreaker to a disc but don't know how.

I've only ever burned audio cds and don't think I have the software for this so ill also need something like imgburn but I heard it isn't available on Mac so could someone give me some alternatives or a link to a guide please.

Just saw this game randomly and thought it looked like an indie game that would have come to Dreamcast in like 2003 or something

I wanted to get some imports and I know you can get boot discs to do so but which one is best and how do I go about obtaining one? Should I buy one or just burn it?

I’ve never played an ace combat game before but I love the aesthetic of 3 and wanted to get it. I know the Japanese version is better in every way but I don’t like playing on emulators so I can only play the international version, so I’m wondering is it still good? I don’t see why it wouldn’t be but all the reviews just play the Japanese one (for obvious reasons).

I know it’s not ace combat but I was also looking at deadly skies (airforce delta) for the Dreamcast which I hear is basically ace combat so can anyone tell me there thoughts on that as well.

The email said that some of the classic keypads weren’t up to standard and orders including them will be pushed back 2-3 weeks till late June.

I also got another email saying my order would be shipped this month and (if I needed) to edit details before the 12th of June (which is a lot better than the “edit before 3rd of August” message I previously got) so hopefully it won’t be too long.

I ordered on the 4th of June btw so I’d assume people who ordered before then will also not have to wait much longer.

I wasn’t originally planning on getting a case because I heard they weren’t great but thought I might as well just in case. But before I do could anyone tell me if the dark case is grey or black? Because the old videos when it was being shown off looks black but it looks grey in reviews, is that just lighting or did they change the colour before the release?

Hello I wanted to do the whole dumb phone thing and got a 4g Nokia but the call quality isn’t great and it keeps getting glitchy a couple minutes in (I live in an old house in the north of England btw and I’m not sure if it’s because of that or if it’s just the cheap phone itself) but other than that I was enjoying the experience and wanted to get a better one. I was hesitant on the side phone though, mainly because i didn’t like the keypad but the new one has fixed that issue but i still have some questions and thought this would be a good place to ask.

I’m assuming it’s 5g but could anyone confirm that?

Can anyone in England tell me if the call quality is good because as I said thats my main issue with my Nokia?

I’ve heard the customer service is great but tbh I’m still a little worried about the longevity of it as it’s a new product, so I’d like to know if the build quality is good? are the bugs actively getting fixed and are new ones popping up and if so are they also getting fixed?

Is the storage much of an issue? I know you can’t expand it and I don’t plan to use it much but will stuff like frequent updates use it up?

Lastly I’d like to know what the app compatibility is like i don’t really need much but i noticed it mentioned email but which ones can you access, can i use my gmail and iCloud or not? Also browsers it’s says Firefox is supported but I’ve never used it so can anyone tell me if it’s any good I’ve been using duck duck go for a while is that also available? Can you also get banking apps? and what is the Callander like because quite a few only let you set weekly reminders but I need one every fortnight so does it let you do that? And is there also any to do list apps, weather apps and notes apps? Also what the customisation like can you change the wallpaper?

I apologise for the ramble but I’d appreciate any answers to my questions
