Afternoon. Mowing this morning when acceleration suddenly stopped. I’ve cleaned around the belt and the cables are all connected. It has to be a small issue. The engine is powering up and blades are turning, just not accelerating.
Would appreciate a few things to do for a 14 day trip to the Carolinas and then up to Nashville.
Would like 5/6 days by the ocean in a nice town close to a large town and then 3/4 nights in Nashville. No idea what to do there. Anything else for a night or two in the area? Fort Knox open to visitors? Folly Beach in South Carolina was mentioned to me.
Any idea when they’ll be on stage? Have a meeting in Galway that I can’t get out of.
Is anyone dumping their trackers or even partly fixing 50% of it? Anyone get a good fixed rate to move to?
We all know that both central and local government bodies will waste funding due to the way these bodies are set up but I can’t help but feel that temporary set ups of John Moran’s Summer in the City or whatever title he’s put on it would be much better served into long term measures.
Reopening the Corbally Baths is one measure that would work. The narrative that the water quality is not good enough is BS. They just don’t want to do it.
The Clare St park basketball court is always used but putting temporary trees onto Glentworth St is going to do nothing to make the City more attractive. Yes, I know that some people will say it was lovely to sit on a wooden bench in The Crescent will their kids played in a sand pit that was a loading bay and is now a loading bay again and will be a loading bay into the future.

Mother is in care so the person asked with maintaining her lawn didn’t do a thing. The house is being rented to cover care costs. Would you leave the lawn as is? Remove weeds from paths and stone areas and let biodiversity take hold or strum it down?

My niece is looking to study Medicine in Bydgoszcz or Szczecin in Poland. Both universities offer an English speaking programme. Can anyone tell how are the respective schools rated in Poland and where do they stand internationally? She has also looked at Poznan that offers USMLE prep but is unsure whether the workload is worth it.
