How many pins is too many?

This is my work bag. Try to find little moments of joy in an otherwise dull day (very boring job) and this helps.

Looking up different pet food subscriptions online, and the generic ‘Joe Bloggs’ details for a dog owner made me smile 🐾

I wish I was as cool as Elle Woods!

At the National Portrait Gallery and came across four miniature portraits. Are they not the perfect cast of P&P?

UPDATE: Hedgehog mum is venturing out and building the nest, have heard lots of little squeaks so sounds like babies are ok! 🦔

I am so relieved. Mum has been eating the food we left out, and is now venturing in and out from under the shed to get food and leaves/grass for the nest. Earlier when I went to check the food I heard lots of little squeaks so I think that means the babies (hogletts) are ok. We did what the rescue centre said, now we just need to keep any potential prey animals out of the garden so mum can recover from the injury and babies can grow. We have to keep our dog away, so mum isn’t stressed, and put food out so she doesn’t have to travel far and can rest etc. I have named her Twix. When babies are big enough and she’s recovered, they will move on. I appreciate the concern earlier from commenters but wanted to reassure people that I did nothing until receiving advice from an emergency rescue centre first, as it was an injured and clearly distressed animal that was found. Again at the time, we did not know there were babies. Had my dog not found it wounded, we probably would have not known about the babies (who mum hodge tucked away out of reach under the shed) as we never would have taken her to the rescue centre. Anyway! Hedgehog cam is set up so I can watch and keep track. She is so cute 🦔

The halti in picture three has now gone, if anyone is concerned. We have since been to doggy training sessions and we are now practicing with better lead training among other things!

I just received the news. My uncle did CPR for 20 minutes, but she never regained consciousness. Was airlifted to hospital, ventilated, and vegetative for almost two days. Declared brain dead, and died this evening. Heart attack had no known (for now) cause. Seemingly otherwise healthy and heart just suddenly stopped. I have lost grandparents and close family friends before but have not known grief like this. She was so wonderful and young and how many more people out there like her didn’t deserve it? I can’t believe I will never see her again, or speak to her again.
