Some things cannot be brought into the light.
Then let it be done in the dark. ❤️

I’ve been thinking a lot about something and wanted to hear from people who’ve already done this inner work.
For those of you who identify as progressive Muslims — or who’ve spent time re‑reading the Qur’an through a more contextual, historical, or compassionate lens — how do you personally reconcile same‑sex relationships with the Qur’an?
I’m especially curious about the emotional side of it:
Do you still feel any discomfort around same‑sex love?
If you do, where do you think that discomfort comes from? Your fitrah? Iman? Or something more psychological — like growing up in a heteronormative world where straightness was the only model we ever saw?
I’m asking because so many of us grew up with one narrative: “men are for women, women are for men,” and anything outside that was unthinkable. 😮💨
BUT now we’re adults, we’ve seen real queer love, and we’re trying to understand what’s divine guidance and what’s cultural conditioning.
I’d love to hear how others have navigated this — spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

If you'd like to message me privately, that's fine too. Personally, I'm doing the inner work, and I think I've come pretty far... 🥹 but even so, I'd really like to share in these thoughts with others!
Thank you again. 🦋
I'm feeling pretty lonely as an Infp...
Feeling distant from family..
I'm beginning to see how important a support group is, and well, it would really help. In a small town where not much goes on, the online world is all we seem to have, huh?
Can we all just list some things we like about being an Infp? It may help. Me, you, and anyone else struggling to find a place in this fast, and noisy world.
🥺🥹
