This is all I get when I go to the site. It doesn’t load up properly.

We already got Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Seth Rogen as DK Glen Powell as Fox and Childish Gambino as Yoshi, but how about the rest.

Here’s who I would go for.

For Pikachu, Kirby and Jigglypuff I would say just use the regular voice actors from the games, but knowing what they did with Yoshi in the Galaxy movie they might go for celebrity voices (even though they really don’t need to). If that’s the case I’ll say Michael Cera as Pikachu, Tom Holland as Kirby and Anna Kendrick as Jigglypuff. There.

For Link, I know he’s being played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth in the live action movie, but I don’t believe we’re going to see that Link in animated form (if we do I’d be very surprised). Personally I would say just let him voice the character, but if they wanted to recast for an animated version of Link I would say Timothee Chalamet would work.

For Captain Falcon, I think that Ryan Gosling would be a fun pick for him. The guy has been in action movies, he has charisma, I just think this would be a fun role for him.

For Ness, I’m going to choose Nicolas Cantu. I think that could work.

And finally for Samus, I have a couple of choices. Either Charlize Theron (who I’ve always wanted to see play a live action version of Samus) or Mary Elizabeth Winstead, whose voice I believe could actually work better for an animated version of Samus. I’d be cool with either (but I’d more so prefer a live action version of Metroid tbh).

What about all of you? Who would be your picks?

I love classic OG Mega Man, but I think it’s time our Blue Bomber gets an upgrade in Smash 6.

Mega Man gets upgraded to Mega Man X.

Zero is promoted to a full-fledged (because he’s one of the best characters).

The Highway stage would be the new stage.

Vile would be a stage hazard/boss fight, possibly a Mii outfit.

And if we ever get another Adventure Mode and/or Boss Rush Mode, Sigma would be a cool boss fight.

I did the first party characters, now here are the third parties. All but the first four have changed over time.

My god. This movie was badass. Ray Stevenson was a great Punisher. I always knew he looked great in the role, but holy crap. I love the Thomas Jane Punisher movie slightly more, but Stevenson killed it here. RIP Ray. Damn that was good.

Ever since Disney bought 21st Century Fox, I always thought it would be cool if we ended up getting a series about Ororo Munroe before she became Storm. It would be a great way to show off Ororo’s agility, her being a thief and all. It would also be great way to introduce the Shadow King, who has never been done in a movie before, could possibly set up for a future film where he’s the main villain. What do you all think? Should Disney/Marvel do this?

I know it’s a bit of a meme at this point, but I do think either Geno or Mallow (or both) has potential to appear in a future Smash title, especially with the Mario RPG Remake already out, which I believe is the reason Geno didn’t make it in Ultimate. You know good and well, if the remake was coming out around the time the Fighters Passes were being announced, then he would have made it. It’s pretty much the same thing with the Hero, they were advertising the Definitive Edition of Dragon Quest XI S like crazy and look what happened. I have no doubt, if we got another Smash, and Geno was revealed, Nintendo would have that coincide with something Mario RPG related (DLC, RPG 2, whatever). Here’s how it is, Nintendo doesn’t look at whatever character would make a unique fighter, or about relevance, or about Mario having too many fighters, the only thing on Nintendo’s minds is “How many Smash fans are requesting this character?” and “How can we make money off it?”. That’s it. And it’s always the Square Enix owned characters they do that sort of thing with.
