Ok so I have had carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery before on my right hand about 3 years ago. Now I have to do the carpal tunnel surgery again on the same hand and cubital release. He said it's like 2 surgeries at the same time. Does this hurt worse than carpal tunnel? It wasn't so bad. But I was put to sleep and I want to be again. The pain afterwards wasn't horrible enough to cry over but it was aggravating.

I was told yesterday I had an appt today for them to come and fix this wire that is a risk for a trip hazard or someone to run into because it is laying on my house and going through my yard. I keep trying to get a hold of somebody and cannot. I've chatted with their robots and I've had it up to here. I've been alone time customer with Xfinity but this is ridiculous.

Just wondering if anyone else's store has any of the Halloween stuff that is different? Of course we have Skelly, and the dumb bones and skeletons that are smaller. But why did we only get like 2 new items that I haven't seen in here before? We have the Gremlin and a mixologist. That's it for the new stuff in store. The cuter stuff like the trees (no idea what they are called) or even the woman in white ( also don't have a clue what her name is) is all online only! Not that I was actually going to buy one but if I was just a customer, I would want to see different stuff each year instead of the same old crap. I would love it if they made a gremlin that just was Gizmo LOL I know he isn't scary really but he is definitely cute

So I'm an OFA and have been for about 3 years. I also work in other departments sometimes and more recently I have been doing that more. The other day was my shift as an OFA so I go in at 6 a.m. and proceed to do what I have been for the last 3 years. The way our store works is probably a bit different because we have someone who comes in around 5 and he gets the deliveries ready and works on all flat and box deliveries only. He does not help with any will calls, Bopis, or Van or Car Deliveries or Curbside. When I come in at 6, I immediately grab my phone and start on all Bopis, Will Calls, & Car or Van Deliveries. I did this yesterday. I was on my second order and I got a call from a supervisor asking where I was? I told the supervisor I was working on an order. Supervisor says why am I not up there because the delivery driver is there and ready. I said because I've never worked on deliveries, except to pull them when helping the other guy out. I do know they are supposed to be done and staged back by the lumber doors the night before if they go out the next day. These were not. These weren't even wrapped or anything. Supervisor said to come up there and do it anyway. So here I go to see what fun shit I can get into and get up there and nothing was ready or staged or even to be found. They had gotten rid of the other person. No I don't drive any equipment but the ballymore. We also have 1 person whose job it is to stand behind the service desk and call ppl and do curbside only. It's all a messed up thing. Rant over

We have a Comcast line down partially and it's blocking the driveway behind us. They came today and our Internet works now but the line is still blocking their driveway. That's their only driveway too so it won't be working for long because they gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning??!!!! What is probably going to happen is someone will hit it and tear it all down. Then we won't have anything. This is stupid and ridiculous. Having to pay for Internet and they won't take this seriously. It's already been cleared by the utility company and no tree or anything is on top of it. Why didn't they fix it today? This is an emergency!

We live in Florence, Alabama. I don't really want to drive to the mountains again this time and wanted to do something different. What is there to do in Georgia that's not any further than Atlanta?

Ok so this morning I'm pulling an order. It is supposed to be picked up this morning in about 30 minutes. This is what I do every single day and have been for 2 years. This isn't the first time this has happened but it's beginning to get on my last nerve. As I'm about to start loading this plywood onto a table cart, here comes the one and only lumber associate who always has to say something about this, he says don't be pulling that and putting it onto a cart just leave it where it is. We don't have enough carts! And we don't have plenty of carts but I am personally not responsible for that problem. I haven't touched another table cart in at least 2 days. But it's not just me he does this to. The new guy asked me what his problem was because he basically got into him for staging a huge lumber order on the aisles we were told to for 2 years. He wants us to bring them into this small cage and it just won't fit in here. Besides behind lumber we don't have another place to put orders. Especially big ones. This guy has been here about 3 years and no he is not a supervisor. What should I do? I'm sick of him telling me how to do my job when I'm being timed on all these orders. He doesn't get that because he isn't timed on anything. Should I let it go and do what he wants? Should I talk to my SM or his supervisor? Or should I talk to my DS? Idk but this morning just pissed me off.

Just watching the Out Safety video this morning and I really didn't think they could get much more ridiculous but this month is by far the worst yet to me. When the guy says "Thanks Water" that was the beginning of the end for me.

Are the orders that y'all pull still showing up after they have been pulled? Ours is showing pulled orders as needing to be done and showing people here who aren't.

Just watching the Out Safety video this morning and I really didn't think they could get much more ridiculous but this month is by far the worst yet to me. When the guy says "Thanks Water" that was the beginning of the end for me.

I dropped the paperwork off at the doctor's office but haven't heard anything back yet. One of my call outs still says protected with no occurrences. Where do I check to see if this went through?

They gave me half a point for last Sunday and it says I had an early out but I didn't. I'm an OFA and have been doing this because my SM told me too since a year ago. She told me if I had a lot of orders to go ahead and clock in but if I clock in early to clock out at that same time so as not to go over the hours allotted. That's what I did. It wasn't that I clocked out 30 minutes early or anything either. It was 1 minute early

Ok so I was looking at my attendance thing and it showed I had an early out last Sunday and I didn't but it gave me a half point. I was supposed to work 9-3. That's a 6 hour shift. I worked for 6.12 hours. Why was I given a half point for an early out? Before anyone says that I must have clocked out early, I clocked out at the exact same time I clocked in a minute for a minute because that's what I was told to do when I first started. As an OFA who comes in at 6 a.m. I have a lot of orders to do first thing so I was told to go ahead and clock in if I have alot of orders and if I do clock in early to clock out at the same time so I don't go over hours.

Ok so everyone knows about the last raise that went out that was going to most ppl. I haven't gotten one. Am I not supposed to or something? I will be here for 2 years this month on the 29th. Everyone else I've talked to got theirs so I'm not understanding why I didn't. Should I talk to someone? It just doesn't seem very fair because I am never late and I always work hard. Some say too hard lol. But for real, why didn't I receive a raise and what can I do?

So I'm walking away to clock out and of course get stopped by some random man who is in a lousy mood and he asks where take your job boxes? I had no clue so I tried to look it up but the stores wifi was so slow he was getting angrier. I told him where I thought this thing may be but he said no it's shaped like a bicycle kind of. Well I just said idk but go ask the guy in hardware or I can call him for you. He just gets mad and walks away. It's funny to me when they do that because it's not really bothering me if they are mad because I don't know what the heck they are talking about. I've heard of job site stuff but none that looks like a bicycle. Am I just missing something or does this exist?

Which job would you say is better for someone who currently works at HD as an OFA?

Where would I go on my apron to print these papers out for an intermittent LOA? I need the one that is for a family members serious health condition. I just can't find it. Any help is appreciated.
