Door County puzzles?

Visiting this week and would love to get a fun Door County puzzle. I popped into a few shops in Fish Creek today and didn’t see anything.

Any leads?

Tomatoes in season?

Hi All-- in the Madison area and heading to Door County on the 22nd for a week of vacation. I want to hit the Bailey's Harbor farmers market on that Sunday and I'm wondering if tomatoes are in-season up there. Our local farmers market here only had one vendor selling tomatoes this past weekend.

Sorry if you find this to be a silly question - I'd love to get as much fresh food up there versus buying it here and lugging it up. Thanks!

This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me - Question

PLEASE NO SPOILERS

I’m on page 244, about halfway.

>!How does she not know he is really Everard? Does he use magic to change his appearance? Or does she just mistake him since she’s just going off what she knows from the books? She obviously knows it’s him when he comes in on the horse. Why doesn’t she know?!<

Maybe I just need to read more and it will be explained?

Help my brain settle this so that I can continue - thanks!

Q for my fellow diastasis recti moms

It’s been over 3 years since I had my second and I finally feel like now is the time to address my core.

I’m looking for an app, or something that I can use to build a routine of exercises around my diastasis recti and overall core.

The problem now is that I’ll see videos on social that I’ll want to incorporate but it’s annoying having to scroll through saved social videos where the audio repeats, or it automatically switches to the next video, or I get served ads. I can’t keep working within Instagram.

Any tips or platforms you like?

Still struggling with dryness

I, like many on here, have trouble keeping my skin hydrated. I have chronically dry skin, but am prone to chin breakouts.

I am 35 and just started taking care of my skin. I now use both of these products at night after washing. The blue bottle first and then the half&half. The h & h says that if you have dry skin, to layer on another moisturizer. But I don’t want to over do it and cause breakouts. What would you recommend?

I don’t have oodles to spend on products but wanted to maybe take advantage of the Amazon sales. Thanks!

Overnight leaks while traveling

Our 3.5 year old leaks almost every night. We limit liquids, pee right before bed, have tried different size diapers, etc. We handle this at home and have learned to live with it.

How do you handle this traveling?? I cannot have him wetting every bed we sleep in on our upcoming vacation.

What are your tried and true methods? Do I lay a puppy pad down? 🤣 Do I put TWO diapers on him? We need to make it 4 nights.

I’m struggling with motivating/influencing/getting my child (ages 3 and 5) to listen in certain scenarios. And the whole ‘natural consequences’ part is lost on me because in some of these aspects, there isn’t really a natural consequence.

Two scenarios:

  1. My child went potty and refuses to put a pull-up on.
  2. When it’s bedtime, we head to bed and getting them to put pajamas on is like pulling teeth.

And of course I’ve tried asking them, and giving them options ‘this or that’ and have tried holding the boundary and physically forcing which never feels worth it because it then turns into a twenty minute meltdown.

I want my kids to listen the first time - is that reasonable or is my upbringing seeping into my expectations?

Would love ways to solve this parenting dilemma. Thanks!!

It appears ants are coming in through our foundation or parging (I learned a new word today) and getting into our bathroom, sneaking in under the baseboards.

How do we patch/fix this? This runs a good five feet or so along our foundation and if we just patch this small area, I’m afraid the ants will just find a new entry point.
