Marineford for me. But I like to think that he’s been at key moments/fights just hiding in the background in case Luffy (as I type this with caution) was ever in real danger…

That or Dragon somehow knows/knew about Luffy’s fate/destiny for a while now so he just trusts the process and in turn, gives him the focus needed for his mission.

In terms of Luffy needing to be serious from now on, who do you think could teach him this? I’d say Gaban if another time skip is inevitable and if Imu doesn’t unalive him in the upcoming chapters but, as it stands, I think him needing to start taking things serious from now on would require a training of sorts…enter Monkey D. Dragon!!

Why? Because I think it would be the perfect setup for those two to finally meet. Since we’ve met him, Dragon hasn’t strayed once from his goal and if the main character hasn’t had any training in that field, then Dragon could be one of the last pieces of the puzzle to Luffy becoming KOTP. Based on the latest leaks, Luffy from here on out needs to change it up and lock in.

At the end of Chapter 1189, the Gaban vs. Imu fight is ready to go! Now!!! There’s a theory going around about Imu being a parrot and after reading about it, I could see this happening. Now!!! What if Gaban knows about this information and we actually get confirmation that it’s true?? If it goes down that route, how would you feel if it’s revealed that Imu was either Joyboy or Davy D. Jones’ parrot and betrayed its captain or was sold or traded and wants revenge??
