What matters more when it comes to marriage

Hello guys, I’ve always got the intention to visit one day, part because I have many Lebanese friends, and they are all so nice !

I am interested in the culture too, I wonder what matter more when it comes to marriage, say an East Asian who is orthodox Christian ( or catholic) marry a Lebanese orthodox girl, would he be accepted into the family.

I am also interested in what do Muslim think too, in your opinion, it’s the nationality or the religion who matter more ?

Any women of Eastern European origin married to Asian man ?

Hello guys, for some religious reason, I have to find wife among people from Eastern Europe, especially those from Orthodox countries ( Russia, Serbia etc...).

I know Eastern Europe generally have less stéréotype toward Asian male, however from what I've heard, they are more conservative when it comes to marriage. So while a girl might go on date with me, but not necessarily obtaining the approval of its family.

For women of Eastern European origin who married to an Asian man, how was it with your family ? Did they approve or were they against it ? If it’s possible, I want to hear people from Serbia, a country I have a very good feeling with

Any Asian guy married to women of eastern european origin ?

Hello guys, for some religious reason, I have to find wife among people from Eastern Europe, especially those from Orthodox countries ( Russia, Serbia etc...).

I know Eastern Europe generally have less stéréotype toward Asian male, however from what I've heard, they are more conservative when it comes to marriage. So while a girl might go on date with me, but not necessarily obtaining the approval of its family.

I am tall and good looking, I am going to hit gym too, so physic appearance is not a big problem for me, I would say. However I don't want to waste time on dating a women with whom I won't be able to marry.

So in your experience, is it true from what I've been told ?

Am I just being ghosted or I am just overthinking

Am I getting ghosted or I am just overthinking ?

For context, I’ve been crushing on this girl for 8 months, she’s one of rare Christian in our school, I fell for her very fast because she said that Jesus was the most important person in her life. However, as she had boyfriend, so I didn’t try to bother them.

Recently she just broke up with her boyfriend, and she texted first ( not school or work related nor she was asking me for help). I was very excited, and we both together had a great conversation, which last 3 days.

However, right after that conversation, she began replying late, usually 1 day after. She even explain to me like 10 minutes after replying to my message that it was because she doesn’t have internet when she’s outside, and because she was traveling, so I didn’t panic.

However, she then went to another travel right back after her previous travel, it’s been 4 days she hasn’t replying to my last message, it was about where exactly did she go for traveling. I believe she does have time where she has internet, because she scrolls on social media ( but much much much less comparing to normal day where she isn’t traveling) and it’s usually morning or night.

So did I get ghosted or… maybe I should just wait until she returns from her vacation ? I am not sure if it’s normal for people to not reply at all during vacation ?

Did my crush ghost me ?

Hello I wonder if my crush ghosted me or she’s just really busy… For context, I’ve been crushing on this very cute and smart girl for over 8 months. At first, I had found out that she had a boyfriend, so I tried to move on, but I just couldn’t, she had so many values that we share with. One night, she texted me first ( not school or work related), and indirectly said she’s single again. I was of course excited and couldn’t sleep the entire night.

We had a very enjoyable conversation, we chatted about politics, religion and other things.

Recently, she is traveling with her family, she even tells me that she’s sorry if she couldn’t respond because she doesn’t have connexion when she’s outside after 10 minutes she has send a previous message, so it shows she considers me someone important at least, not a random person.

However, I don’t know why last Sunday, I asked if they come back already, she said ‘ yes, the flight last 2 hours but we went to another place yesterday’ then I asked ‘ ah it’s good, where is it exactly ?’.

Since then, she still hasn’t responded me, on the first day, her instagram didn’t update, on the second day, I notice that that she liked 1-2 posts and reposted 1 post at late night like 11:50 PM, so I thought she might was just scrolling a bit and thought I slept. But today’s morning, I saw her adding a song on instagram notes, so it shows that she definitely entered in Instagram chats, and could have seen my message, but she only did that and didn’t post any story or repost nor like.

I am so devasted now, I don’t why she came messaging me first, and ghost me now like this, especially conversations went smoothly ???

Canonisation in Orthodoxy

Hello I would like to know how does canonisation work in Orthodox Christianity. As far as know, we don’t have an explicit procedure of how should a person be considered a saint like Catholic do.

Recently, I came across a Chinese martyr Stefan Wu Zhiquan, hieromartyr during the Cultural Revolution, beaten to death because of his Christian faith. For me it’s clearly martyrdom for Christ, and he should be canonised instantly like the 21 coptic martyrs.

However I am not sure if he’s canonised or not, because some sources described him as ‘ St. Stephen’ or just ‘ Stephen’.

I wonder if I could sent a letter the Moscow Patriarcat to plead for his canonisation ?

Realistically, what’s the percentage of Russia being defeated in Central Asia ?

I’be already seen many times AI Russia ( which I had even buffed) being defeated in Central Asia. I wonder if it’s realistic ? Given I am not well versed in Central Asia’s history nor it’s economic situation or it’s military strength
