Hi guys! 33F, been living in Vegas for 8 years and work from home.
That said, it’s been hard to find people who will engage in a heated argument, let alone fall into deep hatred with.
I’ve tried going to local bars and events, in hopes of starting fights but no luck. I even went to a trivia night and sabotaged my team with wrong answers but they were so frustratingly understanding.
How hard is it to find one consistent arch nemesis? I’ll even settle for a handful of locals who harbor a persistent undercurrent of resentment for me.
If you have any recommendations on how to make enemies in this city, please let me know! Maybe we can meet up for drinks and throw them in each other’s faces.
Hello my fellow Cinn-ers,
If you may recall (or never saw, and don’t care), I was in dire need of a cinnamon roll last week.
Unsurprisingly, the need resurfaced. This beauty is from Rosallie French cafe on Rainbow.
Softer than a croissant, less flaky than a bun. The topping is moreso a cream cheese custard(?) than an icing or frosting. Not too sweet, and definitely more on the tart side.
Anyways, they had a live singer there today- he blew me a kiss as I walked out the door which compensated for the sugar I was missing on the cinnamon roll.
It’s not too hot today, so if you’re reading this I hope you leave your house and find some sweetness on a Sunday.
Personal space? Privacy? Never heard of her.
Okay, not an emergency but still a dire (for me) situation. It’s been a shit day and I’m convinced this is the only thing that will fix me.
What makes a good cinnamon roll? So glad you asked:
-Buttercream icing/frosting, not too sweet and a little tart
-Not doughy
-Copious amounts of cinnamon filling
-BIG
Side of town doesn’t matter. I will drive to the ends of Las Vegas for this. Price doesn’t matter. I am in search of a uniquely transcendental experience in pastry form.
If you recommend Cinnaholic, the block will be swift and decisive.
Thank you.
3.5 year old Boston terrier. She was playing with my other Boston when she disengaged and I noticed her eye was swollen and red with a slight haze at the center.
Brought her for a same day vet appointment on Thursday. They checked for corneal scratches (with dye), eye pressure, and tear production.
Everything came back normal, and they prescribed Ofolaxcin and Ketorolac Tromethamine eye drops every 8 hours.
Today is Saturday morning. I came out to the living room, she was shaking and disinterested in her food until I put some wet food with it.
Her eye is significantly more hazy. She’s not scratching at it, but she’s low energy and seems like she’s in pain.
Is this an emergency, or am I overreacting and should just let the drops run their course?
Hi folks,
After trying the highly reviewed Stila liquid eyeliner, it turns into a smudgy mess on me in under 2 hours. Super disappointing.
I have oily, slightly hooded lids. Can someone *please* recommend a liquid eyeliner with a super fine tip that won’t make it look like I slept in my makeup after the club?
Thank you so much in advance!
33, single. I live in a city that’s notoriously difficult for dating. My last relationship was 4 years ago, and my last time having sex was 2.5 years ago.
Matched with a guy on Hinge on Tuesday. Long messages turned into texting, turned into 1-2 hour phone calls, turned into the best first date I’ve had in years.
We got happy hour at an Italian restaurant. No awkward lulls in conversation. He was effusively complimentary, and I reciprocated. The chemistry felt effortless and he was blushing the whole time.
He held my hand and walked me to my car. We made out in the front seat, and stopped before it went any further. He said he could fall into my eyes.
We spoke on the phone the next morning, the conversation was candid and lusty. We planned the next date for this Friday.
The next day, he texts me saying I’m “great, but not the partner he’s looking for”.
The part that hurts the most is that I let myself get excited about someone only to feel stupid.
I’ll be fine.

Hi folks, mostly posting this to help any one of a similar body type and lifestyle debating between these chairs.
For reference, I’m plus sized (around 250 lbs), 5’3”. After what seemed like six months of research, I narrowed it down to the Embody, Embody Gaming, and the Aeron as a possible third.
Luckily, the store that I went to had all three in stock and I was able to try them all side-by-side. Here’s my honest review:
Aeron Size C - I’m bottom heavy, so my thighs spread out quite a bit when I sit. This chair felt like it hugged me in a good way. The seat is wide, and the lumbar support is incredible, however within 5 minutes of sitting in it I could feel the plastic frame digging into the bottom of my thighs. While I could see this being a super comfortable chair for somebody who’s a bit taller, I knew my legs would go numb after prolonged sitting. 7/10.
Embody - This is a great chair. It’s super adjustable, and the seat is on the firmer side. It doesn’t hug you the way the Aeron does, but because of how wide the armrests and the seat are, you don’t feel squeezed into it. 8.5/10
Embody Gaming - I walked into the store, thinking that I would prefer the regular Embody over this chair but that was not the case. It wasn’t an instant realization, but I probably spent an hour sitting back and forth between this one and the normal Embody. My biggest takeaway is that even though a lot of reviews of the seat called the additional padding negligible, that is what sold it for me. Unlike my experience in the Embody, I couldn’t feel those hard bits in the seat when I sat in the Gaming version. The arm rests also swivel, and it has more reclining options than the normal Embody.
Overall, every body is different but after having sat in all three side by side, the choice was clear for me. For those in analysis paralysis, hopefully the humble opinion of a stranger on the internet helps a fellow stranger on the internet.
Happy sitting & may the back gods be ever in your favor!
