Moving from Aarhus to Copenhagen alone – what’s the best option?

🚚 Moving from Aarhus to Copenhagen alone – what’s the best option?
I’m moving from Aarhus to Copenhagen and I’ll be doing the move by myself. I’m trying to figure out which option makes the most sense.
Would it be better to:

🚛 Rent a van/truck in Aarhus and drive all the way to Copenhagen, crossing the Storebælt Bridge?
⛴️** Take the Aarhus–Odden ferry with the va**n, then drive from Odden to Copenhagen and return the van to Odden?
Considering fuel, ferry costs, bridge tolls, mileage and overall time, which option would you recommend?

Also, which rental company would you recommend based on price, reliability and mileage conditions? I’m looking at Oscar, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, etc.
Ideally, I’d like to find a one-way rental from Aarhus to Copenhagen, so I don’t have to drive the van back to Aarhus.

I’d really appreciate any personal experiences or recommendations! 🙏🇩🇰

Signed rental contract and paid large deposit, but no confirmation

Hi everyone,

I recently signed a rental contract through Penneo for an apartment in Denmark and paid a large deposit (more than 80,000 DKK) last Thursday.

The payment has been made, but I still haven’t received any confirmation from the rental agency (for example, confirmation that the payment has been received, countersigned contract, information about keys/move-in, etc.).

I understand that weekends can delay things, but I was wondering if this is considered normal in Denmark or if I should be concerned and contact them again.

For those who have rented an apartment here: how long did you usually wait after signing the contract and paying the deposit before receiving the final confirmation?

Thanks for any experiences or advice.

5G vs Fiber

I’m thinking about switching to 5G because it’s a bit cheaper than fiber.

How well does Airbox’s 5G perform here in Copenhagen? Is it reliable in terms of speed and stability?

Do you have any other recommendations or suggestions?

Thanks!

Repaint an apparent

Hi everyone,
I have a question about moving out of a rental apartment in Denmark.

My partner and I have been renting our apartment for only 6 months, and we’re about to move to Copenhagen.

The walls are practically in the same condition as when we moved in—no marks, holes, or damage beyond normal wear.

Is it mandatory to repaint the apartment before moving out? If we hire a painter ourselves, do we need to provide the landlord with the invoice as proof?

We’re just trying to understand what is normally required under Danish rental rules and whether anyone has been in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance!

Glostrup

Hi everyone!
My partner and I are moving from Aarhus to the Copenhagen area for work. We’re a couple in our mid-30s with no children, and we’re considering renting a 65 m² apartment in Glostrup.

Would you recommend Glostrup as a place to live? Is it well connected to central Copenhagen by public transport? Also, does it have a bit of local life with cafés, restaurants, or places to go out, or is it mostly a quiet residential area?

We’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks!

Addons

Hi everyone!
I’m new to Fusion on Apple TV and I’m really enjoying it so far.

I’m looking for a list of addon manifests (JSON URLs) that are compatible with Fusion. I’m interested in exploring different types of addons, such as movies, TV shows, anime, live TV, subtitles, metadata providers, utilities, and anything else the community recommends.

Is there a maintained repository, GitHub page, or a collection of JSON manifest URLs that I can browse and install?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or resources. Thanks in advance!

Aarhus airport

I’m genuinely wondering how likely it is that Aarhus Airport could significantly increase its number of flights over the next months/years, especially after Ryanair practically pulled out of Billund Airport.

I honestly find it crazy that a city/metropolitan area with more than 300,000 people like Aarhus has such a poorly connected airport internationally. For almost any meaningful trip, it feels like you’re forced to go through Copenhagen, which already means at least 3.5 hours by train, often even more with transfers and connections.

I understand Denmark is a small country and that Copenhagen concentrates most of the traffic, but for such an international and university-oriented city like Aarhus, I expected much better flight connections.

Do you think there’s a real chance that more low-cost or international airlines could invest in Aarhus in the coming years? Or will Billund still remain the main airport of Jutland despite everything?
