Can we just remember

In the early days the toxic positives were shitting on anyone who suggested anything other than "this is amazing, best game ever"

It's a bit like what's going on with that shitty Odyssey movie right now

Another weird/annoying thing I haven't seen mentioned

When Daniel (Kellner) was sneaking away from the house, he crouches and runs alongside a fence so the agents can't see him.

But how did that conceal him? Would the agents have just seen him through the fence?

Anyway, kinda killed the immersion a little but for me. I was fine with the other stuff and had a blast with this movie.

When was the last time you got this much fun out of $40?

I'm tired of commenting this exact thing under every "the game is fun, I've already put in X hours into the free test, but if I purchase it, is it going to last? Is sony going to make kill?" as though you have to make an unreasonable calculation around the fact that you would be paying $40 for a game that you could easily get 40 hours of entertainment out of, which isn't an unfair standard!*

REGARDLESS, in the current entertainment landscape even 5 hours would be a crazy good value proposition. One month of premium Netflix is about the same cost as some of the sales right now, and I just don't know why people are incapable of factoring in the time they've already spent enjoying it?

also, HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE MOVIES?! PROBABLY NOT BECAUSE THAT SHIT IS DOUBLE THE COST OF MARATHON FOR MAYBE TWO HOURS OF (on average) MID-ENTERTAINMENT.

On the one hand, I'm so confused, but on the other, it makes so much sense that the games industry is struggling when people think that their one-time purchase of 40 bucks needs to last them a fucking lifetime.

*According to the spoole principle
