After the reports about UGC NET 2026 paper errors, do you think NTA should issue a clarification?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is facing fresh scrutiny after candidates appearing for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination alleged multiple errors in the Sociology paper and claimed that several questions in the the English paper were repeated from the previous year’s examination. Candidates have pointed to spelling mistakes, grammatical and translation errors, poorly framed questions, and the inclusion of topics they believe were outside the prescribed syllabus. While concerns have also been raised over the quality and integrity of the examination process, the NTA has not issued an official response to the allegations related to either paper so far.

What's one UGC NET mistake you made that you wish someone had warned you about?

I'm just getting started with my UGC NET preparation, and I'd love to learn from people who've already been through the process.

Looking back, what's one mistake that cost you the most time, marks, or confidence? It could be using the wrong study material, ignoring PYQs, poor time management, focusing too much on notes, or anything else.

If you could go back and warn your past self about one thing, what would it be?

What's one topic you keep revising but still don't feel fully confident about?

I've gone through some topics multiple times, but there are still a few that never feel completely clear no matter how much I revise. Curious to know if others are in the same boat.

Which topic keeps giving you trouble, and have you found any way to make it finally stick?

What is one Psychology topic for UGC NET that looked impossible at first but finally clicked for you?

Preparing for UGC NET Psychology can feel overwhelming, especially with topics that just refuse to stick no matter how many times you revise them.

Which topic gave you the hardest time, and what finally helped you understand it? Was it a book, a teacher, a YouTube lecture, your own notes, or a different way of revising?

What's one Psychology topic that looked easy in the syllabus but keeps humbling you in mock tests?

For me, it's always the topics that seem straightforward during revision but somehow turn into a disaster when I see MCQs from them.

Curious to know which Psychology topic does this to you. Is it Research Methods, Statistics, Learning, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or something else?

What's a UGC NET psychology topic everyone says is easy but you still struggle with?

Everyone seems to have that one topic that others call "easy" but somehow it never clicks for them.

For me, there are topics that look simple while reading, but the moment a PYQ or mock test question appears, I start second-guessing everything.

What's that topic for you in UGC NET Psychology?

My cousin is joining Christ this year and I genuinely don’t know what advice to give him 😭

My cousin is planning for CHRIST and the whole family is acting like he already cracked life. Meanwhile I’ve known about strict attendance, dress codes, endless assignments, and students surviving on overpriced coffee and stress.

For people already studying there, what’s something you wish someone had told you before your first semester? Could be about academics, hostel life, friend groups, internships, societies, or just how to survive mentally without becoming a full-time attendance calculator.

Trying to give him realistic advice instead of the usual “college life enjoy kar” speech 😭

Not looking for hidden gems, I want the places everyone ends up at repeatedly around Manipal Institute of Technology.

The default hangout food spots, the ones you go to when you are tired, broke, or just cannot decide.

What are people ordering on autopilot at this point and which places never disappoin?

Was just going through some old photos and somehow ended up in a full spiral of late night food runs, random beach plans, and those “I’ll start studying tomorrow” phases that never really ended.

Life’s more structured now, but also kind of… predictable? Back then everything felt chaotic but fun in a way that’s hard to explain. Even the small things like walking to class half-asleep or bumping into people you knew everywhere.

Do you ever feel like that phase had its own vibe that’s impossible to recreate, or am I just romanticising it way too much?
