...due to what I interpreted as inherent toxicity (directing the anger of seeing a seemingly "boring post" into straight up condescending the poster). So there's my week-old umbrella with one of its ribs broken, and everytime I open it up, the broken rib goes rogue and sticks into another intact corner stitch.

this started giving me an anxiety where this may become a chain reaction and rip all the corners, eventually seperating the cloth from the entire frame.

I used "kessler syndrome" there because that's one occasion where a broken thing veers off and slams into another and so on. You tell me if it's a rookie mistake or not. And if so, I would highly appreciate another fun idiom or anything that means "one broken thing scrams off and hits another working thing".

In my second attempt I tried to elaborate more and this happened under my first deleted post. It's this bottommost comment that made me loathe this entire subreddit. Now I guess they are implying that it *sucks* to be me rather than it sucks to be the poster of that kind of post.
