Who would win in a fistfight?

Regulus (without authority). Felix (without healing magic). Anastasia (without Echidna). Echidna (without magic).

The (likely) pinnacles of physical inability.

Regulus is useless in combat and would most likely lose to Arlam's children.

Felix is so weak he can't even wield a sword properly.

Ana is... Ana, without magic she can't do anything.

Echidna is no different either.

So, who would end up winning this free-for-all?

[Spoiler Discussion] Invisible Providence

Is it correct that I have the impression that Subaru has started to use Invisible Providence better without suffering as much damage to himself?

I say this because, in the story, there have been moments where Subaru manages to use Invisible Providence more consistently than before. Like when he calms the Dragon, blocks Todd's axe in mid-air, and traps Crush against the wall (also the moment where he uses it to knock Ram down in the tunnel).

In these moments, he basically felt no pain, or only a much smaller pain (or penalty) than he always felt before.

He even manages to speak in some of these moments, and only a nosebleed (Crush scene) is definitely a much smaller consequence than starting to crush his head on the ground because of the excruciating pain.

In my view, it seems that using Invisible Providence in "non-offensive" ways doesn't cause Subaru much pain.

So if he used other methods, like grabbing something far away, holding onto something with his invisible hand, or defending himself from a blow, he wouldn't feel pain (or at least a very reduced pain that he could ignore).

Was being summoned the worst thing that ever happened to Subaru?

Being summoned essentially trapped him in a cycle of death that won't end anytime soon, constantly witnessing the horrific deaths of loved ones and himself, developing various traumas in the process.

However, if he had simply stayed with his parents, he would have had a very happy life, resolved his problems without suffering the pain of death, returned to school and completed his studies normally, found a job, and gotten married. Ultimately, he would have had a full and happy life until his eventual death.

From an external perspective, it truly seems to me that going to the world of Re:Zero was the worst thing that ever happened in Subaru's life...

Que mão boba é essa Al?

O cara derruba todo mundo do castelo e ainda põe a mão aí?

[spoiler discussion] I want more characters to die in horrible and painful ways!

I REALLY wish scenes like the tunnel scene in Arc 6 happened more often.

Other characters besides Subaru having death descriptions as gruesome as Anastasia's.

Imagine a scene like that, but with Emilia, Garfiel, or Vincent—I'd love to see that more often!

It makes things more interesting for me, and I know the characters have deaths like that later in Arc 6, but I wanted to see the moment during those deaths. The fear, despair, and description of what was happening to them.

A kingdom that would never achieve anything without the constant help of an 18-year-old boy is useless!

At least Vollachia could handle its own problems without Subaru, but Lugunica would never do anything without him.

No archbishops or legendary Mabeasts killed or captured, no tower containing invaluable information opened, and no peace treaty with any country.

Seriously, Lugunica would be nothing if it weren't for Subaru. They should celebrate every time he shows up in that worthless country!

I want Felt to win just so she can destroy everything and start from zero!

In Arc 5, without Beatrice's help, would Patrasche and Subaru be able to defeat Bossgarm from Arc 2?

That dog seems much bigger in the anime than in the novel.

Which Isekai protagonists, before going to another world, manage to win a fight against an adult kangaroo (only human protagonists)?

u/Loose-Past-7322 — 24 days ago
▲ 48 r/ReZero

Finally, we're going to have a serious and relevant discussion about the serie

Subaru has just left the convenience store and encounters an angry kangaroo in the street that tries to attack him. Can Subaru win?

It's an adult kangaroo, fully prepared to fight and chase Subaru if he tries to run away.

  1. Midoriya, ao auge de seus 15 anos está carregando All Might nas costas, All Might que, pesa mais de 200 quilos.
