Sure, it's cool to play a new mode 1–3 times when it's fresh on release day, but let's be honest... It's mostly a farming simulator where you beat waves of minions, move to a new room, beat another wave of mobs, beat a bigger boss, and that's it. There isn't really much of a challenge in it, and it quickly becomes routine and boring. I really don't see Endgame events as the main focus of a season tbh, which makes me believe Season 10.5 won't really be a success in terms of the number of active players.

It just seems so obvious with the characters they've presented.

S1. Reed represents reason and logical thinking, meanwhile Sue is the emotional support of the Fantastic Four. Johnny is a hot-headed teenager, meanwhile Ben is a veteran soldier.

S2. Emma wants to cultivate relations between humans and mutants with her Hellfire Gala. Ultron breaks all bonds and wants to eradicate every competing species.

S3. Phoenix represents the natural cycle of life and death. Blade, as an undead being, is stuck in the limbo between living and non-living.

S4. Angela is an angel. Matt is a devil.

S5. Gambit's powers let him release energy. Rogue's powers let her consume it.

S6. Deadpool is an agent of chaos who thinks unconventionally and unpredictably. Elsa, as a monster hunter, believes in absolute order and doesn't see shades of grey.

S7. She is a white fox, and she is a black cat.

S8. As a dinosaur, Devil Dinosaur represents the past that guides us on the right path, meanwhile Scott, as the leader of the X-Men and a symbol of hope for mutantkind, represents the bright future we want to achieve.

S9. Jubilee, with her energetic personality and flashy powers, represents the fullness of life. The Hood, as the avatar of the god of the void and non-existence, represents the emptiness of life.

You are spending your hard-earned Units or Lattice to buy emotes that are bound to only one restricted area in one social hub. The given area is just a flat, empty surface of water that has nothing else to offer.

"You don't like them? Don't worry, you'll still be forced to buy them in skin bundles if you want to get the skin and MVP together. We will even start giving them to skins that aren't summer-themed, like Consort of Khonshu Hela."

I don't know whose idea that was. Water traversal emotes should just be a separate purchase or rewards for participating in the summer event. They should never be an unskippable part of mini-passes or skin bundles, because for the majority of players who never spend more than 15 minutes on the beach map, they are simply worthless.

It clearly looks like they delayed the Deadpool Jeff skin so they could sell it in the shop later, only to give players a cheaper version of the default Jeff skin with a pixel filter slapped on instead. Hopefully they won't continue this practice in future.

Johnny's Team-Up gives Ben flaming fists and the ability to fly together. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but maybe Susan's Team-Up could give him shields and also the ability to throw Logan, as a reference to his time with the New Fantastic Four. I kind of miss that ability sometimes.
