Making a Villain Not Bound by Time

Hey so I’m working on a fantasy story where the main villain is this cosmic horror entity that was once a mostly regular person but is now an evil Lovecraftian entity who exists in an artificial semi universe at some of the highest levels of reality, beyond almost all time, space, matter, reality etc. He/it projects a physical avatar to interact with lower levels of reality such as our own with various things allowing him to “exist more” here and allow his avatar/appendage to become more “accurate” to how he actually is. And basically I am running into the issue of how I write an entity/character who is not bound by time, who experiences the past, present, future and more simultaneously, how does he manage to ever be surprised or out planned etc. although I have come to the conclusion that while in truth due to him now being a Lovecraftian entity with thought processes far beyond anything we could even begin to ever understand, what ever personality he/his avatar shows is simply one chosen to most accurately represent his own personality even if massively simplified and seemingly contradictory from our/the character’s POV.

Zerg Biology

Hey so I know that it’s a gameplay mechanic but I am curious why the Zerg need structures like the hyralisk den, ulralisk cavern etc. to make said units. Like I get that the explanation is that those structures are used for the storage of genetic material but shouldn’t the hivemind which is a collection of all Zerg knowledge and their will be able to store all the data in basically the cloud and be able to fabricate it on the spot, and if they need to store it why would they need specialized buildings for each of them, DNA doesn’t take up much space and you can basically fit all the DNA of every Zerg unit in some container the size of a golf ball in the hive and just implement the needed DNA into the larva. I am building a Zerg inspired species for a sci-fi universe and would like some help in answering this question so I have a relatively scientific solution for why I can have more bio structures other than just hive, defences, and biological solar panels.

4D Sci-fi Faction Building Help

Hey everyone, First time posting so sorry if I’m doing something wrong. Basically I am building a universe that has a few sci fi galaxies in it and I need help building one race. They are called the Krythar (not their actual name just what we call them) and they are basically an alien species from a higher level of reality (not a different universe, another layer of our own). Throughout the history of humanity and a few other species they have manipulated things here and there so that we produce a specific cognitive pattern that they harvest. We don’t know what it is (could be pain, joy, or something so niche that we don’t even know it exists, point is we don’t know) and we don’t even know what they use it for. Recently in roughly the 22nd century they have begun small often random incursions where they take over worlds and twist them into near incomprehensible things. They then harvest the whole population and put them in these large devices to harvest said cognition. We don’t know why they all of a sudden started invading but they have (maybe recent tech developments allowed for them to harvest the cognition directly or we aren’t producing the cognition in high enough quantities any more). They exist in 4 spatial dimensions and 2 temporal dimensions instead of our 3 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension, meaning they can basically move sideways in time. Their ships are these insane massive 4 Dimensional ships that are constantly folding in and out of themselves and technically having the infinite 3 dimensional volume due to being 4D. Anyways I would like some help in figuring out how one could fight them and how I could make them more interesting and flesh them out a bit more while keeping them as mysterious cosmic horrors.
