I've been reading through the rulebook and starter kit stuff. One thing that bothers me is that there is a handgun and shotgun, but nothing for a rifle of any kind. So, I made my own, will be adjusting the shotgun as a result, and wanted to share with you all.

In the rulebook, the shotgun is at 1d10 damage dice with ranks 5, 10, and 15 increasing the number of d10s and adding splash damage. What I changed is the damage dice to d12 so I can set the rifle at d10. Feel free to use it, modify it, recommend suggestions, and generally share your thoughts. Here'swhat I came up with:

Rifle (M4)

Ranged attack, Dex

Range:250ft

Limitations: two handed. Requires proper ammo. On a major failure the weapon jams; spend 1 action to perform SPORTS (Slap the Magazine, Pull the charging handle, Observe the round in the chamber, Release the charging handle, Tap the forward assist, Squeeze the trigger) to clear the jam.

Base Damage: 1d10

Rank 5: You may use an action to switch in or out of Burst Mode. In Burst mode, the M4 can fire Three rounds at a single Target in a single attack. Each round must be rolled as a separate attack with Disadvantage. In Burst Mode, Aim cannot be applied. Additional damage dice from higher ranks do not apply while in Burst Mode.

Rank 10: +1d10 base damage

Rank15: +1d10 base damage, + Dex modifier. (That is +1d10 for rank 10 and another for rank 15. So at Rank 15 it should be a total of 3d10s base damage +dex modifier.)

In Season 5 Episode 1, the Doctor faces off against the Atraxi. Recently seeing a meme of the scene sparked a new head canon for me: when the doctor walks through the hologram showing the faces of his past regenerations, he steps through right after Tennant, prompting me to believe that the reason for him to step through at that moment isn't the dramatic reveal to the Atraxi that he is the Doctor, but to prevent himself from seeing his future regenerations.

Not really important, but a fun head canon if you haven't already reached that conclusion.

Ordered some stuff from South Carolina on Wednesday last week. If you don't count Wednesday or Thursday, my 2 day delivery should have been here Saturday, Sunday at the latest Monday was a holiday, but that's no reason for it to have arrived at the facility on Friday and not go out Saturday or Sunday. 2day delivery is really 6day delivery. I fucking hate FedEx.
