The contact would only be in one eye. Has anyone done that? I've got perfect vision at 4 ft plus. It's trash at 0-3. Does anyone wear them in both? Has anyone done it vs progressive glasses? I'll take that feedback as well, any feedback actually. How is the view? Is it narrow like progressive glasses? Do you wear them all day? Only in office? Thanks in advance. I am starting at square 1

I got a iol to distance in one eye. I'm about 4 weeks from getting glasses but I'm already dreading it. Right now I don't feel so good, I feel nauseous daily and my phone screen time is down to about a hour or so a week. I would like to see my phone, and computer screen, it would be awesome to be able to look at my tv but I think i need progressive for that. Can you get just 1 bifocal in one eye as a contact? I would like to see my phone then my kid without receiving glasses. Can you get a contact to near/intermediate st the same time or no because of no accomodation? Are bifocals available without the line? Whats the best way to gain that 0-3 feet back without multiple glasses that I will likely lose? Thank you.

I'm extremely eager to get anything that improves my situation. When is it too early or most appropriate to start begging my doctor? When did you get contacts? Did anyone opt for lasik after iol? I am desperate to get back to life and get some pieces going again after cataract surgery with IOL about 2 weeks ago.

The surgery was a success but I'm still not doing well mentally. I gave up my title for skeet/sport and am in the process of putting things together for myself. I grabbed some 'readers' or cheaters whatever it is people call it.

The monofocal is set to distance. I'm tired of the constant headaches from poor vision but also just general life limitations like how do you see the cluster on your cars?? I can't even see the gas price on the machines so I got 6 pairs starting at .25 and going up.

It's been discouraging to say the least ... the pair that worked for my phone only worked about a foot of life, then I needed a different set for about 1-2.5 ft and another set for 3-4 ft. It just didnt seem like anything was working where I could just sit down and get shit done. How on earth do people live this way? Do you just not see crisply for 8 ft or do you just "get by" with "good enough"?

I spoke to a guy at work and asked him why he takes his glasses off to impact exercises and he said the trifocals make him sick and frustrated because he can't see things fast enough and the picture isnt as big, is that true? Do you not see things crisp/fast when exercising or running with a bifocal trifocal whatever? How are you guys doing this.

Currently 20/20 both eyes, slight original kids in my left eye. I'm sub 30yr old. I was diagnosed with narrow angle

Glaucoma about 6 years ago. I had that SLT laser thing but the holes are closing up. I initially said yes to cataract surgery but in a pre op appointment she(doc/surgeon/glaucoma specialist), said the main and only real downside is I'll need bifocal.

Pardon? Cancelled.

7 months later, pressures at 24+ and I schedule it. I cancelled a week before surgery because I Went camping but couldn't imagine not being able to read a map, jog a 5,k and read my watch or phone immediately whenever at any time. . No glasses. No fog none of that junk. No transitions whatever.

It sounds like...such a massive lifestyle change I truly cant get past it. I'm not exaggerating when I say I legit feel like my outdoors life and social life is over. I saw a video of a guy with glasses, winter hiking and he was terrified he would drop his too but couldn't get snow goggles on either. I'm basically experiencing grief. Laugh all you want but it's preventing me from the surgery. Will I be able to lace up a little fish jig or do i need glasses for that and then take them off to cast?? Did you lose that mid distance? If so how bad was it?

Update-I got one eye done, all is well. I'm basically filled with regret and fear I made the wrong choice. I really, deeply miss my vision and what I had..

I had a pre horrific experience this week with their call center. Was wondering my best recourse.

Was on hold to change flights due to a emergency. Lady tells me I can leave next day (,which didnt help me at all) for $0 or that night for a few hundred (sub $200) but also use my miles and switch to a earlier flight, great.

But she was wrong. She then spent over an hour being weing and by the time she admitted what happened bkth my ticket oltions sky rocketed.

Options -

A- lThe $0 option is now $2xxx (was always $0 and wasnt going to use miles),

B-$1xx because 2xx

The refund was MORE than the cost of either oltic A or B

Im told i cant actually compare the direct price because the tier of the ticket I got was too high to do that and they explained how dynamic pricing works.

How do I make the best possible complaint to maximize my outcome? Lies//lack of knowledge whatever, it had a very seriously codt both monetary and emotionally for me.
