So my friend has a question but can't ask on her account because she was suspended for 7 days and...

I'm not letting her touch my phone anymore cause every time I do she sends nude pics to my boyfriend so I'm asking you guys her question. So she wants to know if Rue was actually gasping for breath in 3x08 or if that had been a hallucination and she died peacefully in her sleep. My friend said that she's seen so many comments that Rue didn't suffer during her death but she's confused because it was clearly shown Rue suffered while dying. She was in so much pain. I don't watch Euphoria so I really don't know who Rue is or how she died but my friend is obsessed with this show so she really wants to know.

I'm sorry, but I genuinely don't understand the argument that Penelope would have thrived with Debling.

To me, that interpretation ignores a lot of what season 3 actually showed us.

Penelope wanted a marriage built on love, and Debling was very clear that he would never be able to offer her that. He planned to spend long periods away from home, leaving her to manage everything on her own. While she may have enjoyed the freedom that came with his absence and found it easier to continue as Lady Whistledown, I don't think that would have made her truly happy. It would have left her lonely.

By contrast, Colin loved her. The season makes it clear that his feelings were always there, even if he didn't fully understand them until later. More importantly, he was able to give Penelope what she had always wanted: a partner who genuinely loved and chose her.

That's why I struggle with the idea that Penelope would have been better off with Debling when she is clearly happy with Colin. It's perfectly fine to prefer different ships, but I don't think wanting Penelope to settle for a loveless marriage is somehow a better outcome for her character.

What also surprises me is how much criticism Penelope receives despite being one of the most compassionate and complex characters in the series. As Lady Whistledown, she has certainly made mistakes, but she has also helped countless people throughout the ton, including members of the Bridgerton family. Whether people like her or not, I think her character deserves a lot more credit than she often gets.

Hayley’s placental abruption may have been what saved her life

I just realized that if Hayley hadn’t gone into early labor and experienced placental abruption, she likely would have died permanently after giving birth to Hope. In real life, when the placenta detaches, fetal blood can enter the mother’s bloodstream. Since Hope's blood had vampiric properties, the placental abruption may have allowed some of that blood to enter Hayley’s system before she died. Ironically, being abducted by the New Orleans witches and going into premature labor may have been what ultimately saved her life.

Working at Publix Isn’t for Everyone

My friend has been working at Publix since October as a bagger, and she’s constantly complaining about how frustrated she is because she feels like she’s treated badly. Our manager asks her to get carts almost all the time, and she still doesn’t know how to put the electric wheelchairs back in their spots, so she leaves it for another bagger to deal with. She also still doesn’t know where a lot of items in the store go and either relies on the Publix app or just puts things anywhere without caring. I told her one day she’s probably going to get caught and either warned or fired, but she doesn’t listen. I also told her that if she hates being a bagger so much, she should become a cashier like me, but she’s afraid of being short on money. Mind you, she’s in her early 20s.

Riley and Farkle should’ve been endgame

I’ve always thought Riley Matthews had way more chemistry with Farkle Minkus than she ever did with Lucas Friar. Even as a kid, it never made sense to me why Riley and Farkle were never explored romantically. They had more in common, had known each other since childhood, and their families already had such a strong connection because of the original show.

Honestly, it would’ve been so ironic and fitting if Cory Matthews and Stuart Minkus’s children ended up falling in love after everything between their parents. Especially considering Minkus used to have a crush on Topanga Lawrence. They even could’ve recreated that iconic locker scene from the original series with Riley and Farkle.

Instead, Riley ended up with Lucas, and honestly I never liked that relationship because of how he treated both Riley and Maya Hart at different points in the show.

Would Jacob have moved on eventually without imprinting?

Do you think Jacob would’ve eventually moved on from Bella if imprinting never happened, or was he always going to stay emotionally stuck on her?

One thing that annoyed me about Hope’s character

My issue with Hope is that she struggles to accept that so many people genuinely hate her father. Just because Klaus loved her and was kind to her at times doesn’t erase the fact that he was cruel and destructive to a lot of other people.

She always becomes defensive whenever someone calls Klaus evil, but he was evil at many points in the series. He murdered innocent people, manipulated others, and traumatized countless characters. That’s part of who he was, regardless of the love he had for Hope.

What also frustrated me early on was how much Hope idolized him despite the fact that he abandoned her for years. The show often acts like her love for Klaus outweighs everything he did, and whenever his actions are brought up, she gets angry instead of trying to understand why people feel that way about him. In that sense, she really does act like a Mikaelson because loyalty to family always comes before everyone else.

Twilight is the most accurate book Edward

The rest of the movies he's so... I don't want to say boring but compared to his personality in the books compared to the movies he was the most accurate in the first movie in terms of personality. At least in my opinion.

I honestly wish Alice had been Cory’s daughter instead of Raven’s cousin.

I honestly wish Alice had been Cory’s daughter instead of Raven’s cousin. It would’ve been so much more interesting if she inherited psychic abilities from Cory’s side of the family and was being mentored by her aunt Raven Baxter. That concept feels way more connected to the original show than making Alice a random cousin with no psychic abilities at all.

The writers easily could’ve explained Cory’s absence by saying he was away in the military or working overseas or something similar. They also could’ve had Alice call or text him throughout the series so his presence was still felt even if he wasn’t physically on the show. It honestly feels like a missed opportunity.

These two women shouldn't be compared

I never really understood why so many people compare Rosalie Hale and Rebekah Mikaelson just because they were both turned into vampires against their will and can’t have children because of it. Their situations are actually very different.

At least Rebekah has the option to adopt and raise a child as her own if she truly wanted to. She also doesn’t have strict vampire laws hanging over her head the way Rosalie does with the Volturi. The Mikaelsons are the oldest and most powerful vampires in the TVDU, and vampires there also have compulsion, which gives them way more freedom and control over their lives.

Rebekah’s issue was never that motherhood in general was impossible for her. She specifically wanted a biological child of her own. And there’s nothing wrong with women wanting biological children. But the Mikaelsons as a family have always been extremely blood-oriented. They constantly emphasize “always and forever,” yet most of the time that loyalty only truly extends to people who share their blood. If you’re not biologically part of the family, you’re rarely treated the same way.

Was Bella in the books more a tomboy or a girly girl?

In the movies she's definitely a tomboy. Eclipse makes that extremely obvious with how Bella was dressed for her own graduation party. However the first movie it was like her style was a mix of both and as the series went on her style became more and more tomboyish until the very last movie. I'm not entirely sure about the books.

A.N.T. FARM never made any sense to me as a kid

How were 11 year olds allowed to attend high school only for their advanced natural talents that were not related to academics except for Olive who had an eidetic memory? How were most of the A.N.T.S. even completing their assignments correctly?
