2007 Corolla rattle noise in -20°C

Every winter without fail my Corolla starts making this noise when temperatures dip below -20°C. And it only happens when idling while being in Drive, such as at red lights, or right before going into Park. If I shift into Neutral or Reverse the noise goes away.

Car drives fine, no lights, no nothing.

Just wondering if others had this as well and figured out what it is.

2007 CE AUTO

Edit: spelling

Opinions on ALL WEATHER Tires

My cars need new winters this coming season and summers next year, so I’m entertaining the idea of going All-Weather tires for both. I mainly drive on city/residential streets with occasional inner city highway use. Would All-Weather make more sense for me?

The cars are a 2006 Corolla FWD and 2014 RAV4 AWD

Cancel Order in Canada

Made an order this last Friday for some brakes only to realize on Monday that the brake kit doesn’t include coated rotors. I live in an area that snows heavily and the city uses lots of things on the roads that cause things to rust quickly. I paid via RBC Bill Pay on Friday and was able to cancel the order Monday morning via the order page. Since the order was paid with RBC Bill Pay but it takes RockAuto 2 business days to receive. What’s the most likely result? I get my money back and can order what I want, or the order goes through and thats it?

Brake parts price difference and is it worth it?

Planning on doing front brakes on my 2007 Toyota Corolla and am wondering if the price difference between OEM and Parts Store options is worth it?

OEM Pads, Rotors, and Shim Kit = $500CAD
PartSource Pro Series OE+ brand = $265CAD
Brembo Pads, Rotors from PartSource = $310CAD

Any places hiring HR/ADMIN/OFFICE?

Hi all, I’m currently looking for permanent work in office/desk related jobs. I have a diploma in Human Resource Management and some experience in a Human Resource Assistant position as well as being an Administrative Assistant volunteer.

I have applied to hundreds of jobs in many different fields and haven’t been able to find anything. If anyone is currently hiring or knows of some vacancies, I’d be more than happy to pass along my resume.

Thanks!
